Dairy of a boy who attempted No Nut November

11:40 PM October 31st

Once again, November has arrived silently. It's merely an ordinary month for infants, older adults and the elderly, but to a large majority of teenagers and young adults, it is the silence before a storm.

I do not know where or when No Nut November originated, but it is a sacred ceremony to prove whether we are boys, or men. It is no game as it tests our ultimate endurance, strength and willpower.

Even though it is not yet midnight, I can already feel the treacherousness of this grueling path ahead of me. Anxiety weighs on me.

I fear, yet I still bear.

The handles on the clock tick towards 12 and I can already imagine myself failing this challenge.

Stay Strong!!! I scream in my heart.

I witness the date on my phone alternate, displaying "November 1".

The challenge has begun.

Luckily I have prepared myself well.

I lay on the bed, close the lights and prepared to sleep, adjusting myself in the best way possible.

An impossible challenge many say?

I shut my eyes and swear to myself: I shall ace this "impossible" challenge.
