Meet Uncle Daniel? (2)

As with the message that was sent by Edward regarding his meeting with Jaden and his mother and where Daniel had promised the little boy he would dress neatly, now Daniel is busy looking in the mirror in front of him trying on some clothes that he deserves to wear at this time. He wanted to appreciate Jaden's mother who had taken the time for him to meet him, which in other words gave him time to be able to meet Jaden again.

Oh come on, he was very happy when he found out that he got a message from Edward saying that Jaden and his mother wanted to meet him for lunch with him.

After trying on clothes for a long time, Daniel finally chose to wear a rolled-up shirt with jeans that looked casual and a watch that matched his clothes quite well.

'Am I supposed to be weird after liking a kid like Jaden?' softly Daniel who suddenly thought of that, because he didn't deny it after he returned to his apartment he was a little sorry why he didn't persuade Edward to keep eating with him, and for that when he got a message from Edward he without thinking long immediately replied to the message that, and unexpectedly Jaden gave him a voicemail.

Several times Jenni seemed to take a deep breath. Honestly, she was nervous right now, how could she not be nervous when she remembered that she had been away from Daniel for a long time, about nearly four years.

Will Daniel be angry with her or maybe hate her? What will she tell Daniel about Jaden's whereabouts? Where should their conversation start?

Things like that kept going around in her head.

Oh come on, Jenni is quite nervous about the fact that she has kept to herself, even though it's not actually true, because her two best friends are always by her side, even when she is pregnant, the two friends are always close to her as much as possible.

Maybe Jenni herself still feels lucky, because she still has people she loves, even though she has lost the people she loves the most in her life.

The first she had to lose her first love who was always there for her from the time she was born into the world, which was none other than her father, then the second she was forced to swallow bitter memories where she was forced to lose her mother for a long time, and finally, she lost Daniel when she thinks Daniel is the port of her heart who can be transparent to her, without any lies or secrets being hidden from her.

It's just that everything has made her appreciate time more and also made her more mature than before. Now she is fully aware that the actions she took in the past were actually very childish.

But of course, she couldn't regret anything. She can only make it a very valuable life lesson.

"Mom," Jaden called to his mother, who looked lost in thought with so many thoughts running through her head.

"Ah... yes? what's wrong baby?" Jenni asked Jaden.

Jaden took a deep breath, and after that told his mother that Edward was waiting for her in the lobby.

Jenni quickly nodded her head and led Jaden to the lobby of her apartment.

'What is Mommy really thinking?' Jaden's monologue in mind.

After that, the two of them walked hand in hand towards the elevator that was there.

'Gosh why am I so nervous,' Jenni whispered in her mind, which couldn't get over her nervousness yet.

Edward gave Jaden a shake of his head.

"Thank God, because Mommy was daydreaming a lot, it was very strange unlike usual," Jaden said like an adult who wanted to tease Jenni gently.

If Edward immediately chuckled at Jaden's light chatter, then it didn't apply to Jenni, who was staring intently at her only son.

"Woah, Mommy's look is scary," Jaden said as he pretended to hug himself as if to tell that he was afraid to see her.

"You're so nosy with Mommy," Jenni finally said.

Jaden quickly gave that grin as well as his genuine smile. The boy seemed to have deliberately done that to Jenni to change the look on Jenni's face, which was previously nervous.

'Finally, Mommy forgot her nervousness a bit, what was Mommy really thinking?'

After that small conversation, Edward drove his car to the place he had promised Daniel.

The atmosphere of the trip was dominated by the small cuteness of Jaden's actions.

It seemed like the little boy was really happy to do something to lighten the atmosphere that was happening.

Seeing that Jaden and his mother had not yet arrived, Daniel also intended to go to the toilet first, but of course, he had reserved the seat there first.

"Ah... yes, hurry up there, I'll be waiting for you outside here."

Jaden nodded his head, and after that, the little boy was already running into the toilet.
