Decision

The dinner was pleasant and solemn. Everything felt like a beautiful dream for Jenni who for the last few years felt a little lonely, although not completely lonely because her two best friends were always there for her.

Indeed, both of them are not always with Jenni all the time, it's just that most of the time she ran away from Daniel for the first time, then Edward and Axelle during Jenni's pregnancy were always beside her.

But after they both felt that Jenni was able to take care of herself and her son, then both Axelle and Edward took turns keeping Jenni monitoring her from a distance.

According to Edward and Axelle, Jenni is their family they must take good care of. Axelle, who used to have feelings for or fell in love with Jenni, slowly understands the situation where according to him it is unlikely that Jenni will fall in love with him, and for that reason, Axelle has positioned Jenni as his real sister so that his attitude will naturally be at the forefront to protect Jenni as Jenni's older brother.

"You're staying here too?" asked Michael who suspected that those who came today were staying at the hotel.

Daniel, and Carl simultaneously nodded their head, while Jenni looked awkward seeing Daniel's response.

Doesn't Daniel nod his head, that means he's going to stay overnight like Jaden's request, right?

"Is that true?" Michael was surprised who realized it.

"Do you think I'm going to lie brother? Don't you think Jen?" Daniel whispered casually ending with a direct question to Jenni.

Michael looked chuckle by him, while Jenni looked nervous while nodding her head, and don't forget that Jenni's cheeks had turned red with her heart beating faster.

'Ugh, why does Daniel seem so happy to corner me? Don't you remember that Michael is my adopted brother?' Jenni's monologue in her mind cursed him in her heart.

"So you guys decided to get back together again?" Michael asked suddenly serious, to Daniel and Jenni who were in front of him.

"Honey, it seems the kids are a little sleepy, may I take Lily and Jaden with me to the room?" Kylie whispered, realizing that the conversation this time was getting serious, and there was no way Jaden or Lily could hear things like that, could they?

'Good grief! I forgot Lily and Jaden were still here.'

Michael of course said yes, and didn't forget to leave Kylie and the two kids to Axelle and Edward to take the three to his room.

"Mommy, Jaden is not sleepy," said the three-year-old boy.

"Is that so? Shouldn't you have gone to bed early? Isn't Jaden feeling tired?"

Her son seemed to think fast and tried to understand the hidden meaning of Jenni's words.

"Okay, Jaden will be with Lily but later Mommy and Daddy will come to Lily's room too right?"

A nod Jenni gave Jaden of course.

"Daddy will catch up later, baby," Daniel said helping Jenni.

After confirming the seriousness of Daniel's and Jenni's answers, then the little boy relented a little and wanted to follow Kylie and Lily.

"Let's go to the room now, kids," said Axelle holding out his hand to Lily and Jaden.

Lily and Jaden cheered a little and followed Axelle's footsteps as if they were used to being a child.

The atmosphere that had previously melted for a moment now felt tenser again.

Honestly, both Daniel and Jenni haven't reached the final talks on this yet. There is fear and also keeping feelings for each other in their respective minds.

"Have you guys talked about this?"

Michael again dominates asking questions that have been bothering her, especially with Jenni's situation, which previously seemed to have lost track of the last few years just for the reason of avoiding.

If previously Daniel looked doubtful and confused, this time the young man tried to speak up and of course, he did not intend to corner any of the parties there.

"I will accept any decision from Jenni, it's just that I don't deny that I want to go back to her, and I will fix all the mistakes I've made so that you don't believe in me Jen," Daniel said calmly which ended with Daniel holding Jenni's hand gently

Jenni closed her eyes and tried to neutralize the roar of her breath.

She doesn't know why she has mixed feelings now. She seemed confused by the decision she had to make.

"Are you sure you will agree to whatever my decision is?" asked Jenni who finally spoke, to which Daniel immediately nodded his head without any rebuttal.

Not only Daniel but also Michael and Carl looked tense waiting for Jenni's follow-up sentence.

A sigh escaped Jenni's nervous lips. If she was asked if there was any fear of the decision she would take this time, of course, she would answer 'yes'. After all, she had felt like she was in that position, and because of that, she didn't want to repeat the same thing!

"I'll try to start everything from the beginning again."

Daniel's eyes looked teary hearing the sentence Jenni had just said. Isn't that the same as giving him a chance?

Carl and Michael who watched it could only smile hearing the decision that was taken by Jenni at this time.

"Thank you, Jen," said Daniel who was now about to hug the girl beside him.

This time he felt it was a happy day for him, because not only was he able to bring Jenni together with the person he loves, but he got the green light from the person he loves.

Not only Daniel, but Jenni also had tears in her eyes, even a grain of clear liquid had fallen from one of her beautiful eyes.

She was touched by what happened today. She liked the atmosphere she had always hoped for. She thought that since her mother closed her age she would not get complete happiness, although she was grateful that she had Jaden who always filled her days with a smile and the strength of her life spirit.

"I hope you use this opportunity well, Niel," Jenni whispered in Daniel's ear.

Daniel of course said yes, and besides, he couldn't deny or deny it, right?

Slowly Daniel tightened his embrace on Jenni as if the young man would not let the girl let go of his embrace at all.

"Ahem, can't you two notice my existence as well as Uncle Carl?"

Spontaneously Jenni hit Daniel's chest lightly to immediately release his embrace.

"Ugh, you're just bothering me, Mike."

"Tsk, you can't be like that Niel, don't you remember that Jenni is my sister?"

Daniel rolled his eyes lazily. It would be very lazy if Michael started making a narrative like that.

"Jen, why do you want to have a brother like him," complained Daniel who was a little annoyed at Michael, which was replied with a chuckle from Jenni and Carl.
