Sera was finishing her morning run as the world ended. She walked into her house to see her girlfriend abbey sleeping on the couch. She smiled right before she fainted after a few minutes she woke up to a screeching thing that used to be her girlfriend tangled in her blankets squirming around trying to grab her leg. Sera in shock heard the mocking laugh of the being that betrayed the world as they tell her what happend to her girlfriend all while laughing and telling her the name of the thing was called. A Dark One people infected try to infect others not unlike zombies but these were fully aware of what there body was doing slowly losing there minds as they kill friends and family alike sera having heard all of this started to tear up as she knew what would happen if she left abbey as she was. She forced herself to grab the antique sword that she kept as to rember her father turned towards abbey gripping the sword so tightly her knuckles turned white and with one last looked killed the dark one that was once her most beloved. after that she fell to the ground listlessly trying to gather her thoughts she is brought before nemesis the goddess of revenge and was given her blessing. when brought back she scrambled to her feet ran to the door closed and locked it as she smiled bitterly at the thought of finding the so called God and killing him to ease the pain in her heart. Sera gave Abbey a proper burial behind her house and goes to barricades the rest of her home. after she finishes the barricade she sits down with her back against the wall and tried to listen to what's happening outside and heard what sounded like a giant walking down the street she curled into a ball and settled down and slept
