Cruise

"And you are?" asked the Ms. Lola, club supervisor.

"Lewis, Lewis Wheaton," I said. The lady checked me off the list and smiled at me.

"You're good! Go on in." So I walked into the teens' club. I saw two kids sitting by the window. I walked up and introduced myself. The black-haired boy with a Golden State Warriors hat was Gavin. The one next to him had a brown button-down shirt on. That was Logan. There were around 5 other kids scattered around the room, playing games, some talking, or just sitting down.

I talked to Gavin and Logan a bit more and found out that they were cousins. As we talked 2 black-haired girls walked in. One of them was Maddy, an older looking girl. The other was Sydney who looked more like my age, 14. They were not related, however.

A few minutes later, the club supervisor told us to gather around.

"We will be going on a boat-wide scavenger hunt!" Ms. Lola announced. "Break off into groups of three and try to find all of the items on this list. You have forty-five minutes and when you leave the room, your time starts. First team back earns a prize."

Sydney and Maddy team up with two other girls named Alice and Carly, while I team up with Gavin and Logan. Both of our teams collect our list and walked out of the room. it was 9:15 and the ship had been moving for a little over 5 hours after it started to move at 4 PM. Sydney's over-manned team came up to us in the halls with the elevators.

"We should work together to do this list and come back at the same time," Maddy proposed.

"Sure!" Gavin responded in his heavy Southern accent.

"You, me, Gavin and Maddy will look on the top 2 floors. Carly, Alice and Logan search the rest. We will all meet at mini-golf at the top of the ship when we are finished." said Sydney. I agreed and we split up to search for various items on the ship.

Around fifteen minutes before we headed back, we tried to play mini-golf but it was pointless. The wind at the very top of the ship was too extreme to play. So we went down a level and tried our hand at shuffleboard. That only resulted in a puck, and Sydney's cruise I.D. card falling off of the ship. So we finally went back and talked, played Uno and wished we had phone service in the Gulf of Mexico until around 1 AM, when we finally went back to our rooms, ready for the next day when the cruise would really begin.
