The sound rang out in the hospital room.
Lying in the bed was a man with a short silver blond bob with multiple wires attached to his body . He was wide awake staring at the TV which showed the news of two young men. One who looked similar to himself and the other with short brown hair. The look in his eyes turned from indifference to hatred at the sight of them.
Kain Hasapi and Max Silver.
Rage coursed throughout his body. Max was his lover and Kain was his cousin on his mother's side. He cherished them immensely. Max and he met at The Estrela Performing Academy where they had majored in Acting. Kain, at the time was a senior pursuing a different major at the time and had introduced the two to each other. He had fallen in love with Max and they were dating for 3 years when he caught Kain and Max in bed which led him to the present situation. He gripped the sheets just thinking about how they had pulled the wool over his eyes and kept him in the dark. He had to admire their skill and at the same time he could only blame himself for being stupid and naive. Tears of anger and despair blurred his sight as they said the following statements.
" We are pleased to announce that Mr. Kain Hasapi will be the new Chairman of Luxway, our premier Shoestore and it is also our pleasure to announce that Mr. Hasapi will be marrying his long term fiance Max Silver in a small and intimate ceremony." The two betrayers were smiling and acting all lovey dovey making him feel nauseous.
Fury mounted again at the mention of Luxway. Luxway was his paternal family's legacy shoestore that was world famous and sought out for it's ecletic shoe collection and designs. It was supposed to go to Elijah Fabbri, his oldest brother but Elijah died in a car accident. The news announcement came to an end. He moved his eyes up to the ceiling and the tears fell. He lost everything. His family, his heritage, his love and his career by the 2 bastards who he cherished with every inch of his life.
