building a base in the apocalypse world

Check out the new release book [ Kingdom Building In Apocalypse] <br/><br/><br/>It was just supposed to be an ordinary day <br/><br/>why would in a single day a nightmare would come <br/><br/>Apocalypse yes! zombies that were only supposed to be in the movie <br/><br/>eating other people's flesh like a cannibal monster <br/><br/>to think that this walking corpse would be in this world. <br/><br/>I tried to survive this horrible world <br/><br/>God didn't save us <br/><br/>As I struggle to survive <br/><br/>The more I suffer <br/><br/>In this world surviving is like being in hell <br/><br/>That dying is the better option <br/><br/>The disaster<br/><br/>I am Souta an ordinary senior high you can see everywhere, I live in a small town near the mountains, I have 1 sister but she and my parents live in the city. <br/><br/>I choose to stay here to study but maybe when I go to college I'll move to the city, I look at the TV while preparing to go to school.<br/><br/>[reporting there is a virus rapidly spreading around the world, please be careful and if you ever have a high fever please go to the nearest hospital immediately]<br/><br/>Ting! <br/><br/>It was a notification sound that came from my phone, I took my phone from my pocket. It was a meme that the virus will be the start of the zombie apocalypse <br/><br/>hmm, apocalypse huh? well if there is any I know what to do.<br/>I am someone who always overthinks something so if the apocalypse happened I'm already prepared<br/><br/>he giggles and said<br/>[ like it will happen though]<br/><br/>someone came into Souta's house<br/><br/>[ what are you laughing at? it's creepy you know, hurry up we will be late for school! ]<br/><br/>the other girl giggled<br/><br/>These two are my childhood friend<br/><br/>the one who talked to me was Amelia I call her Amy, she is an energetic girl and always cares about others, she is an airhead that almost got a zero on our test. <br/><br/>on other hand, the one who giggled was Steffanie I call her Steff. <br/><br/>she is the exact opposite of Amy she is always cold to others but when it comes to us she seems to behave like a normal girl, she is a smart and straightforward girl.<br/><br/>We used to play when we are kids in the playground and because of that we become so close to each other <br/><br/>After finished preparing we walk towards the school, I asked them about the virus that was in the news <br/><br/> [ ah, the thing that everyone was saying at the start of the apocalypse? It won't happen so relax ]<br/><br/>Amy said that but she was wrong <br/>That day was the start of the apocalypse <br/><br/>We arrived at the school, many hour past <br/><br/>it's already lunch break I was sitting on my chair on the front seat near the window and overthinking things again<br/><br/>[ we were already senior high and it's just a few month's were about to go to college ]<br/><br/>he sighed<br/><br/>[ and the paths that we're taking are different, are we going to separate soon? ]<br/><br/>Amy open the door to our classroom <br/><br/>[ iii!! Souta! let's have lunch together! ]<br/><br/>Souta agree <br/><br/>he stands up on his chair and walks towards Amy and the staff<br/><br/>[ hurry up! ]<br/><br/>[ ok ok relax] <br/><br/>The staff is always silent, she doesn't talk too much to people I don't know why. <br/><br/>while walking to the hallway towards the cafeteria a scream was heard<br/><br/>[everyone, there is an emergency please proceed to the evacuation center ]<br/><br/>the students ran as fast as they can toward the evacuation center<br/><br/>(note the evacuation center is in the middle of the school and our building is in front of it just a few minute's walks) <br/><br/><br/>while we were stunned and don't know what to do, confused about what was going on we looked out the window.<br/><br/>students bite other students, some scream in pain some fight them by pushing them.<br/><br/>We three began to panic and don't know what to do <br/><br/>[ what's going on!? ]<br/><br/>[ I don't know ]<br/><br/>Souta remembers the meme that they'd been posting on the internet, that the virus was the start of the apocalypse.<br/><br/>he then holds both of the hands of the staff and Amy they both look confused, Souta then asked them <br/><br/> [ can you trust me? ]<br/><br/>they were confused about what was going on and said [ yes? ] with a question<br/><br/>While holding their hands he ran towards the stairs to go down<br/><br/>other students also run there so it was full of people, they have a hard time going down<br/><br/>after the struggle, they finally get down but Souta didn't run toward the evacuation center, he ran opposite the evacuation center.<br/><br/>Amy noticed this and warn Souta <br/><br/>[ what are you doing Souta?! The evacuation center was in the other direction! ]<br/><br/>The staff talk to Amy and said <br/><br/>[ don't worry Amy, it's Souta were talking about I know he knows what's doing ]<br/><br/>Souta ran towards where the emergency axe as he broke the seal and steal the axe<br/><br/>[ ok, now we're ready! let's get out here ]<br/><br/>the two didn't say anything they just followed Souta, Souta run towards the entrance of the school <br/><br/>The school has gates at the exit and entrance so when they arrived at the school gate the gate was locked <br/><br/>Souta used the axe to break the padlock and quickly open the gate and run towards the exits<br/><br/>there were no students there so it was pretty much silent, Souta stopped and remember something <br/><br/>[ wait for me here, I'll be quick ]<br/><br/>[ Okay ]<br/><br/>they were already exhausted because of running around too much so it's helping them to catch their breath<br/><br/>Souta on the other hand was not exhausted thanks to him always jogging around in the morning<br/><br/>As he ran towards the guard's place his heart beat fast, cold sweat running down his spine, thinking that there would be a zombie in the guard post. <br/><br/>the guard's room was close to the gate so he arrived there fast,<br/>the guard's room was empty probably because they already go to the evacuation center, and he sighed out of relief.<br/><br/>Souta looked everywhere, he open The small cabinet in the corner and there was a pistol 🔫 <br/><br/>Souta was thrilled and smiled <br/><br/> [ exactly what I'm looking for ]<br/><br/>he again looks for something useful and found a baseball bat<br/><br/> [ why would a baseball bat be here? ]<br/><br/>he didn't think too much about it because he was in a hurry<br/><br/>after picking up the gun and baseball bat he ran towards the gate, the girls were there waiting for him<br/><br/>Amy asked [ what's that? ]<br/><br/>[ I found a baseball bat in the guard's room ] Souta replied<br/><br/>[ ah it's probably owned by the student who forgot that he have it in the bag ] Steff said<br/><br/>[ welp it's good for us whatever reason it is, here takes this ] he let Steff have it<br/><br/>[ Amy can't hit people and don't be too naive ok? if the persevere infected and tried to bite you hit it in the face ok? ]<br/><br/>[ ehhh why? ] Amy ask<br/><br/>[ I believe that they are not human anymore ] Souta replied<br/><br/>[ anyways let's go ]<br/><br/>[ to where? ] Amy ask<br/><br/>[ to the mountain ]<br/><br/>this will be the start of chapter 1</p>
