It was just an ordinary day when Darren had come across a book which had just recently been displayed in the store he regularly visited.
The contents of the book explained various ways to control or exorcise evil spirits while going into other types of rituals.
Most of it looked like the average antique book that was full of writings and drawings from someone who would be believed to be heavily involved with some kind of cult or other weird group.
Despite its appearance and some alarming pieces of information within it, it was being sold in the store and he was curious enough to purchase it.
As someone who saw strange things, part of him wanted to believe in such a thing being possible even if he did not fully believe it to be.
If he could gain control of the evil presences he saw within those who were hostile to him then perhaps something could be done to stop what was happening to him.
