BNHA: Pain and Love

A man with barely any morals left was transmigrated as Izuku Midoriya about a year before the entrance exam. With Pain's (Deva path) modified powers, he hoped to enjoy his second life to the fullest. This is mostly a slice of life and no dark or really depressing things will happen to them. If you enjoy a light and fluffy read, try this out There is Inchest here, I'll let you guess who she is. There will be blood for a certain cute and misunderstood waifu too. Probably a harem with 3/4 members.

Chapter 28 - Mitsuki Bakugou 5

"I know this is weird, after all that, but if you want, I'll make some food." Izuku said, rubbing his stomach as he suddenly felt hungry. "Oh, and, I think you should know that I'm no longer a kid who's too shy to move. I can be dangerous too,"

Izuku let Mitsuki revel in that thought and left her alone in the room. He wore a black T-Shirt and went to the kitchen to make two portions of simple egg fried rice with soy sauce.

He half-expected Mitsuki to leave when he returned with two plates of food, but she hadn't. He noticed she hadn't moved from her spot, her right arm covering her eyes. Izuku had no idea what was going on in her head, but she was clearly lost in her own thoughts.

Seeing that she was still hogging the couch, Izuku lifted her body and let her head rest on his lap, reversing the situation. He took a plate and ate while watching Mitsuki's mental struggle. "If you're hungry, there's food." He said, munching on his spoon and watching TV.

Izuku didn't think the air was awkward; it was strange, but not uncomfortable. Not to him, at any rate. He noticed Lin was still sleeping and wondered if she, with her enhanced intelligence, was aware of what was going on.

Mitsuki abruptly rose from his lap and stared him down. Izuku didn't flinch and only smiled back before being slapped hard and tight by Mitsuki.

*Pa!*

Mitsuki rubbed her red hands together with a satisfied smile, content that she had finally gotten her revenge, and took the plate of food for herself. She was physically and mentally hungry.

"Well, I wouldn't say I don't deserve it, but couldn't you have done that when there's no food in my mouth," Izuku wryly said as he swept the scattered rice he threw up from the floor.

"Or you could just not play with my feelings and stop halfway you dumbass." Mitsuki retorted back, "Now I don't know whether to hate you or let you go."

"Isn't it better that I stop halfway?"

"I'm don't fucking know! I've never been...that before "Mitsuki felt compelled to slap Izuku even harder after witnessing his casual demeanor, as if the previous few minutes of their lives had never occurred.

Mitsuki was now in a state of limbo. She despised Izuku for trying to force himself on her, but she can't fully condemn him because he stopped it before it got too far. To be honest, he stopped before it even started.

Not to mention that his reasoning made some sense to her. She did let her guard down a little too much, but that is no reason to forgive him.

Mitsuki ate the food, thinking it was good, while staring at Izuku, trying to get into his apparently messed-up head. 'How can he still be so fucking calm?' she wondered.

Izuku caught her gaze and returned her smile, causing Mitsuki to roll her eyes in an endless cycle of annoyance and confusion.

After the food was gone, Izuku turned his attention to the TV, ignoring Mitsuki. He wasn't purposefully doing it, but it was just that he had nothing to talk to her about right now.

"Now what?" Mitsuki suddenly asked.

"Mn?" Izuku showed a confused expression and tilted his head, "There's no now or later. I tried seducing you, you rejected, and that's the end of it from my end, nothing more, nothing less."

"So you want to just blow this whole thing off as if nothing happened? Like I'm supposed to act how I used to around you?" Mitsuki said, her tone slightly angry at his nonchalance.

"I didn't say that." Izuku smiled and tried to calm her down, "Of course today happened. You and even mom will probably see me in a different light after this, but there's nothing I can do to stop it,"

He then continued, "So, all the cards are now in your hand. Whether you want to keep this to yourself, tell my mom about it, or even report me, I won't do anything. No matter the consequence, I'll deal with it later down the line,"

Mitsuki stared at Izuku, trying to see whether he was scheming another plan beneath all his seemingly sincere words, only to realize that she can't. The Izuku in front of her was now shrouded by a veil of mystery, not allowing her to look at him the same way ever again.

"I'm leaving," Mitsuki said as she got up. She couldn't think straight with the boy she once thought she knew here. He was now too confusing, too different, too…mature.

Seeing him not even trying to stop or convince her to keep this to themselves, Mitsuki wondered what would happen if she really told on him to the police. Probably nothing, but his nonchalance really pissed her off, almost making her do so out of spite.

"Oh right," Izuku suddenly remembered and stopped Mitsuki from leaving. He went to his room and carried a bag out, "Mom said you wanted to try yoga out too, so I bought a copy of mom's mat,"

Mitsuki looked at the bag suspiciously and immediately asked, "Was this one of your ploys?"

Izuku palmed his neck and answered truthfully, "Yeah, it was." He said, donning a sardonic smile. "But I guess it won't work after this huh,"

"It won't…" Mitsuki said, taking at the bag in her arms with complicated emotion. She can't even remember the last time her husband brought her home a gift, and yet this happened.

"Did you regret doing it?" Mitsuki suddenly asked.

Izuku, contrary to her expectations, showed a small and content smile, "I regret not taking it slower. But I didn't regret chasing after you,"

Mitsuki still couldn't put her feelings in place but she didn't bother to. Not now at least. She strode over to the door and left without looking back, prompting a sigh to escape Izuku.

'I fucked up bad didn't I,' Izuku thought in his heart. He really couldn't do anything now that it had reached this point. All he hoped for is that Mitsuki, for some reason, won't tell Inko or else his advances with his mother will be a bit harder to connect. 'If it comes to it, then it'll take a few more years of waiting,'

Either way, the biggest loss was absolutely Mitsuki herself. This interaction cuts his chances with her to almost zero. Unless a meteor strikes and only him and her were left alive, then Izuku couldn't see how he could salvage this situation.

Izuku looked at the time and it was barely 4. He still had hours to work on his body and quirk before the U.A. entrance exams comes in a few months, so he does just that. He needed to do something to take the kiss he took from Mitsuki off his mind.
