"I asked you a question, what did you say?" I demanded louder than before, now that I had Clara's attention.
"You heard me right, you good for nothing Buffalo!" Clara hissed and was about to leave. I held her back holding her hand very tight.
"Leave me alone, you.....!" Infuriated, Clara swung her arms wildly at me, her obscenities flying almost as quickly as her arms.
Before Clara could take hold of my hair, I caught her arms. I then thrust Clara away from me in a desperate attempt to protect myself. Clara fell to the floor with such force that the desk behind her moved several feet from where it was as her heavy body hit it. Clara let out a scream and again began shouting offences at me, calling me every accursed name she could think of. A second later, she was on her feet again, charging at me. I again tried to catch her arms, but this time unsuccessfully. Instead, the two of us fell on the floor. Clara was on top, pulling and yanking my hair.
