Synopsis

Senior year has approached, and Blue couldn't be more anxious to graduate. As a trend starts to go around the school on who could lose their virginity, Blue doesn't take part in it. With him being the only virgin in his senior class, he knows he has to protect his V-Card at all costs.

Chapter 1Chapter 1

Blue's POV

Nothing can beat the fact that I wasn't normal. I was the prey of everyone's eyes and it makes me uncomfortable knowing that I was the last virgin in my senior class.

Everyone suspects me to lose it like everyone else but I didn't come to school to have sex. I went for an education and my mom raised me right to not fall for what the trend is doing. Especially when it doesn't do anything but give up your dignity.

I have more common sense than to fall for this pathetic stuff knowing that I will always get bullied for being a virgin.

The fact that it's the beginning of the school year and I just started my senior year is dreadful. Not only I have to wait 10 months to graduate but I have to be in this school full of sex addicts.

The clock on the wall almost struck 3:45 and I can be home from another day. I tap my fingertips on the cold surface on the table while darting my eyes from the clock to struck for the end of the day.

I was eager to leave school so I can go home from this hell hole.

Pushing up my glasses, I lick my lips while biting down on it slightly.

Mr. Fishermen was lecturing on something that I already know about and it was no use of me paying attention.

Perks of being the smartest person in your grade that you can spend all your time studying or get ahead start on your work. Instead of going out having a social life like a regular teenager.

Finally, the bell rings for the end of the day making everyone pack up. "Make sure you all turn in your homework tomorrow, it's part of your grade." Mr. Fishermen said, causing everyone to groan in annoyance that he assigned us homework.

Grabbing my backpack and putting it over my shoulder, I shuffled out of the room trying not to bump into anyone then went to my locker to grab my book's so that I could do my homework tonight.

I don't enjoy homework but I do love my grades to look high and decent so I can be top of my class.

Feeling someone tap on my shoulder, I turn around to meet my best friend Grace. She is a Junior so we don't have any classes together which is a bummer since she is the only person I can stand at this school.

"Hey Blue!" She beams while her fiery red hair curl's swinging everywhere.

"Hey Grace." I greeted back while pushing my glasses to my face.

"Can I come over to your house today? My mom is being a bitch again and I don't know if I can deal with her tonight." She said going on about her mom. Grace and her mom don't get along that much because all she does is blame Grace for everything.

"Yeah, my mom loves you and she basically said you could live there." I told her that my mom adores her as one of her children.

"We could have our movie date!" She pulls me towards the exit of the school. I wouldn't call it a date. It's just two best friends hanging out. We do this all the time but I don't mind when she calls these things dates.

While we were exiting the school, everyone was hooting and shouting from a distance. Today is a basketball game for our school and everyone was hyping them up. I don't like looking at basketball games or any sports in general. If I went to one I'll be clueless by what's going on.

Squinting my eyes to the figures that were crowding the basketball players as they were getting on the bus, I recognized that face from anywhere. That light brown hair, aquarium eyes, and that smile that make anyone fool you.

Mason Samuels

Mason is very known for being the school player at our school. Everyone looks up to him like he's God or something.

I have never been faced to face with him although we have almost every class together. It's aggravating that all he does is talk so much but don't know a damn thing.

He is the only boy to date and sleeps with everyone in the school and It's sickening. I'm not even gay so I'm okay that I don't have to worry about me having a crush on him even though I never will. If I was he wouldn't be the first person to go crazy over.

Being the only virgin in my grade is like a lion's den and you are like the little food they want. Everyone is trying to fight to get to you and I cut everyone off that tries to talk to me or even make a move on me.

I pulled out my car keys to unlock the doors to let me and Grace then start my car, putting it in reverse and driving out the school parking lot.

Leaving the school parking lot, Grace snatches my phone and puts in my code. Her favorite song God Is A Woman started to play on the player.

"Can we listen to something else?" I said looking at the road then looked at her.

She stops singing and turns towards me with a frown. "No, because you listen to old music and I'm not trying to hop out this car while moving so I can kill myself."

"God is not a woman though." I admitted and it made her stop the music. Grace looks my way again but this time with a glare. I peek over at her with a sly eye. She can literally kill me right now with that glare.

"God is a woman and how dare you say that!? You are not even on her level to understand what we are talking about." Grace yelled at me for disrespecting her idol.

I put my hands up for defense so she won't attack me for my mistake. "I'm sorry."

Grace smiles in satisfaction then turns back on the music, singing at the top of her lungs again. I love her and all but I wonder why I became friends with her.

All I know is that we used to go to this spot when we were younger and we would argue about who was there first. She actually fought me for it and I ran home crying.

Until I went up there again and she felt sorry for hitting me. So we decided to share it and protect it at all costs. Not until the city tore it down so we just became friends after that.

"Blue!" My four year old sister Violet yells as I and Grace come into the house. She starts tugging on my jean jacket trying to get my attention.

I look down to meet her height. "Yes?" I responded and she darted her eyes from me to Grace.

"Can I play with you and Grace?" She asks then gives me her signature puppy dog face that she always does. Her blue eyes that were the same reflection as mines were wide as her bottom lip stuck out.

Before I could respond to her question my mom walked into the living room. "No Violet let Blue and Grace have their alone time." My mom responded for her while dusting off her apron she had on.

She must be baking for her clients. My mom is a House Designer if you are guessing what she does for a living.

Violet whines then stomps up the stairs and we hear the door slam to her room that made the whole house shook.

"Lord Jesus that little girl." My mom closed her eyes while sighing.

When she comes back to the little place she has in her mind she smiles at Grace. "Grace how are you, honey?"

"I'm good Mrs. Moon." Grace politely says even though she's been at my house every day. I don't know why she acts like they just met.

"I told you to call me Jacky and I have been knowing you half of your life." She pulls her into a hug while chuckling.

"I know its just weird calling grown-ups by their first names." She chuckles also and my mom waves her off.

"What are you two doing anyway?" She smirked, causing me to raise a brow at her from her weird behavior.

Ignoring her look, I started to pull Grace upstairs. "We are just going to do homework and watch a movie mom!" I scream from the top of the stairs.

My mom is always expecting that me and Grace are doing things in my room. Sure we do sleep in the same bed but that's all. "Play it safe!" She screams after me and Grace from the bottom of the stairs.

What did she mean by that?

Pulling Grace into my room, I closed the door behind us then walked over to my desk and took out my books so that I could do my homework.

"My mom is so weird." I grumble while sitting down in my desk chair.

"At least your mom doesn't act like a bitch sometimes." Grace huffs then laid down on my bed while pulling out her books also. "Your mom cares about what you are doing all the time while mine scream at me for everything I do."

Grace never likes to talk about her mom because she said it made her angrier. All I know is that her mom has real issues and her dad left when she was born. That's why most of the time she is over my house.

We both were doing our homework while listening to Ariana Grande and I just let her play it since she was upset. "The light is coming to give back everything darkness stole!" She screams the lyrics while tapping her pencil In her book.

"Can we listen to something else?" I turn my chair to face her. I don't know why I even ask her that question. Did I not learn from what happened earlier?

"No, we are listening to the queen!"

"Okay." I dropped my shoulders in defeat then turned around to do my homework.

About 2 hours later we were both done with our homework. "Movie time!" Grace bounced up and down in my bed from excitement. Turning on my TV, I pull up Netflix.

"What do you want to watch?" I asked her and she grins from ear to ear that made me worried about her choice she was about to make.

"Fifty Shades Of Grey!"

"No not Fifty Shades Of Grey we watch that 50 times!" I whined disagreeing with her choice. We watch that every time she comes over and she is such a freak to even watch stuff like that.

"We are going to watch it until I know every word, we are going to watch it until we know it backward and we are going to watch it until I get tired of it!"

Sighing in defeat again, I agree with her choice. "Fine but next time I'm picking the movie." I clicked on the movie and we both laid down on my bed and her head on my lap. Sometimes she gets very cuddly.

During the movie, I felt my eyelids get droopy. These types of movies are so boring to me especially if it supposes to be exciting.

Grace started to play with the hem of my shirt while she stares at the screen from a sex scene.

When I couldn't hold back my sleep, I just let it be.

I felt someone tap on my shoulder making me open my eyes to see a blurry figure in front of me. "Blue Grace left and she seems upset by the way she slammed the front door." My mom said glaring down at me.

I sat up from my bed with a confused face. "She is probably upset about her mom again." I shrugged about the situation then looked at my clock that reads 7:56.

Did I sleep for that long?

"Please be nice to her because she is a nice girl." She told me and I looked at her with an emotional face. What have I been doing for the past 6 years of our friendship?!

"She is my best friend mom so of course I'm going to be nice to her."

"I mean give her a chance and you need to start noticing what is in front of you." She said getting up from my bed and leaving my room with me being confused even more.

Song of the Gardener of Souls [BL]

Rowan sees beauty in death. The Order he has sworn to obey only sees defilement. As the reviled Caretaker of the Order, Rowan has accepted his role as a dutiful outcast because he believes it is the only way to prove his worth to the man who holds his sisters’ souls as collateral. With his magic and his voice, Rowan can absorb death and transform it, but only in ways the Order deems acceptable to maintain the stability of the reality it claims to protect Order must subdue Disorder. Reality must triumph over illusion. He is tainted and always will be. Rowan has never questioned those lessons, but that changes the night he harvests a crimson soul that is more than human and chooses to keep it a secret. When Rowan’s song transforms that soul into a beautiful and mysterious man he names Wren, he is forced to accept that sometimes duty is a lie and illusion is the only thing you can trust. As the fabric of the Order begins to unwind and a new kind of Disorder takes hold, Rowan will need to choose again, stand with the Order that held him down, or forge a new path with Wren at his side. He may be the only one who can restore balance to the worlds, but only if he can find balance within himself first. ************************************* Updates 3-4 times per week. Note: This story focuses on relationships. I promise an epic romance, lots of swoon-worthy moments, and a healthy amount of fluff. When it does get steamy…you might get burned. Fair warning for explicit content. I don’t shy away from my spice. There are lots of side characters and couples to fall in love with, in addition to the main couple. If you love the idea of found family, you will be happy. This book is set in a non-heteronormative world, so you will see various gender identities/expressions and types of love. ************************************* Excerpt (if you want the full steamy version, you will have to read the book!): Still reeling from the new magic that coursed under his skin and unsure of how to react to the desire that threatened to take control of him, Rowan froze. Wren's hot breath against his mouth sent a jolt of pleasure through his body, and he choked back a groan. A different kind of panic flared in Rowan's chest, burning him as if he were the one on fire. This was what he wanted, what he'd thought about every night since Wren left. But wanting more was one thing. Acting on it was another. He'd spent so much of his life hiding, he didn't know how to do anything else. One corner of Wren's mouth twitched as Rowan pulled away. When he attempted to free himself from Wren's grasp, Wren just hauled him closer. Rowan liked that he didn't have to think about what to do next. His bare chest thudded against Wren's torso, and the heat from Wren's body merged with Rowan's skin, melting him from the inside out. "What did you just do to me?" Wren's deep voice vibrated against Rowan's chest. "The Disorder of your illusion was holding you captive. I…I absorbed it." "Oh? Where did you learn to do that? Have I been gone that long?" Wren's grip loosened slightly on Rowan's wrists as if he was satisfied now that Rowan was practically sitting on top him. Rowan stared at Wren's lips. He opened his mouth to protest, but immediately closed it again. "I know you aren't going to say that I shouldn't touch you." Wren's free hand splayed over the small of Rowan's back. "Not when you started it." Rowan's breath hitched. "No. I'm not going to say that anymore. Not to you." "I thought you were afraid to be touched." Wren's fingers traced a circle over the curve of Rowan's spine as if testing for a reaction. "I know that I'm not afraid of you." Rowan waited for the panic to set in, but all he felt was desire. "With you, I want…" "You want what?" "I want more." Triumph flared in Wren's gaze before he narrowed his eyes. "Really? Then why are you still trying to get away from me?"
