The mercenary clones, once a large army double that of the Granians, lost many numbers at the hands of the Granians, Grim, Gravax, and the Scarlet Army.
Their Mechs were decommissioned permanently, their numbers dropped drastically and continued to fall with the rapid advancement of the Scarlet Army. Soon, their numbers dwindled enough for the Granians within the fortress to retaliate with full force without holding back.
Despite this, the order wasn't given by Lord Grim for the Granians within the fortress to join the battle. The Granian found himself surrounded by ten of the twenty-one Ethisians. The Ethisians stood between him and the gates, denying him the opportunity to relay the message.
