Chapter 1Prologue

-Prologue-

There's a lot of things beyond our imagination and one of them is the power of Qi.

Qi is the energy in everything and it's also the life force that every person and thing has. Someone or something that can cultivate Qi to himself or to itself can have limitless strength to even reach the might of a God.

There's a legend about a hero who reached the cultivation rank of a Creator who did not just save humanity from the brink of extinction but also created a realm for humanity to prosper and reached the Rise of Humanity Age. Even now, no one knows who this hero was and they call his realm "Xaltan's Realm".

Xaltan's Realm was governed by Yion of Sky Heaven Clan, cultivation rank of an Emperor, the largest and strongest clan located at the center of the realm. After hundreds of years, new clans emerged and five major clans and their sub-clans have erected around the Sky Heaven Clan. Humanity rose and surpassed its former glory and now it's about to take up arms against the Realms that once oppressed them.

Before they open the gate to the other realms, the unity of sub-clans made their treacherous move. In just one night, the five major clans have fallen from the combined forces of their respective sub-clans and it was too late for the Sky Heaven Clan to stop the catastrophe created by these evil minds. Peace is a luxury no one can ever have forever. Sky Heaven has closed its border and never to be opened from the people outside of its territory.

Black Petal Clan is one of the Five Major clans that fell from the hands of this unforgivable event who suffered the most with almost wiping out the entire clan. Only a few of them survived and one them is Ai, son of Bahura, the past Commander of the Black State and the Head leader of Black Petal Clan.

-10 Years Ago, Black Petal Clan-

"Dad! You won't believe what has happened today! I just reached the 5th level of Disciple! How about that, old geezer!" The youth's smile is as wide as his happiness.

"Do you think you can beat your old man with qi cultivation like that? I'm a 5th stage King! You need to eat more rice to get stronger!" The middle-aged man doesn't show it but he's proud of the effort of his son. At such a young age reaching level 5 disciple, that's even greater than a genius level.

"Don't treat me as a kid! I'm already 8 years old!" He let out a frown at first but raised his head up and smiled showing unparalleled respect to his father.

"Then don't be so happy after reaching petty rank like that." Immediately messing his son's hair while his son struggles to be released.

"Just you wait, old man!" The youth trying to remove his father's hand through his hair.

But those smiles didn't last long changing into worry after a loud explosion was heard far north of the city. The father was alerted of what happened and the only thing he could do is look at his son and let out a confident smile.

"I'll be right back, son. The city needs your father. Be a good boy and don't get out of the house, will you?" The father grabbed his trusted longsword and wore his adamant armor that refuses to quit.

"Now you're just showing off! Just get the hell out of here, old man!" The youth's words are different from what he felt. Worry enveloped his feelings but his trust of his father's strength is greater. He said to himself, "my father will be back."

"Protect your sister. I couldn't find anyone better suited for the job. This is an order."

"Yes, sir!" The youth expressed his happiness from his father's order and trust raising his palm to his forehead. Little did he know that this was his first and last mission from his father... and he failed.

"Now you see?" she shouted in a mix of annoyance and disappointment. "You can't outsmart Scrients! They're the most intelligent beings across the two realms." "You're right," I muttered, averting my gaze with a heavy sigh. "I made a mistake. I was too arrogant to think that a mere human like me could fool them." —BOOM!! "Heik! Wh-What was that?" "Hmm? I'm not sure. Maybe you should go and ask the most intelligent beings across the two realms. Oh wait, you can't. I killed them all.” ______ My name is Samael Kaizer Theosbane. On the last day of high school, I got into a fight with a kid I used to bully. It was a stupid, pointless scuffle, and in the middle of it, I tripped and hit my head on a rock. That’s when the memories came flooding in - the memories of another life, of a different world. Suddenly, everything made a twisted kind of sense. I realized two things. First, I was in a game I used to play in my past life. Second, I was a villain. A villain! Not the cool and mysterious kind, either. No, my destiny was to be manipulated and die a dog's death! I was the worst type of cliché: an ungrateful, privileged, insufferable young master. The sort you'd find in those poorly written fantasy stories. The kind everyone hates — a snobby brat from a powerful noble family who thinks he owns the world just because he was born with a silver spoon lodged in his mouth. You know the type. The one the hero beats to a pulp to prove his worth. Yeah, I was that guy. And the hero? The hero was the kid I’d been bullying all this time. The same one I got into a fight with. He was the supposed savior of this damned world. A world teetering on the edge of destruction, beset by wars, calamities, and a grim future that only I knew. And at the end of it all, the final antagonist of the game, the undefeatable boss… the Spirit King, was waiting. But could I even make it to the end? Could I conquer a game where defeat was the only certainty? A game that was now my reality! “Ah, fuck it.” I had no idea if I could, but I sure as hell was going to try. Extorting extras, manipulating main characters, twisting the story to my advantage, stealing the hero’s cheat items, killing villains before they could become threats - nothing was beneath me. Would the main characters be affected? Who cares! Would the story change? Even better! All I cared about was me—my survival, my life, my choices. “I will live this life with no regrets.” …But as I soon discovered, fate was not easily changed. And the price of altering one's destiny was steep. ========== Discord Server: https://discord.gg/VjFQtDUaTR
