'Fria.' That was the only word that came to Kanzaki's mind when he saw the message on Cord. Fria had finally taken the time to message him simply saying hi and that she was back. Kanzaki was astonished at her message to him. It was like she didn't even acknowledge all of the other messages he had sent. It was like she didn't even see that this entire time he had been struggling to hold on. It was like she held no blame and that nothing was her fault.

When Kanzaki saw this tears began streaming down his face as he realized that he never mattered to her in the first place. He was a toy and an object to be used when she felt like it. She never cared about him and red flags he had never thought about before came rushing toward him like a freight train. It may have been because all of his emotions had been bottled up this whole time or that they had nowhere to go but now he was not happy.

Kanzaki had a google doc where he kept tabs on different things she liked even things as simple as her favorite color but she could never even remember things like his last name or even his favorite things in the game they played together. He paid attention to every little detail of her while she only did what she pleased.

As the tears streamed down Kanzaki's face he couldn't take it anymore. He didn't want to feel how he did now and waste his time with someone who wouldn't spend their time with him. She didn't acknowledge him or his feelings and that's what hurt him.

With these feelings, Kanzaki typed the one-word answer of bye. After that, he hit enter sending the message. When the message was sent he saw the green light come up on Fria's account and he knew that she was online. Despite this, he quickly moved to her account clicking the three little dots at the top and then moving his mouse to the block button.

Once he reached this point she was already typing but before she could send a message Kanzaki clicked block officially blocking her from contacting him or even messaging him.

Thump Thump Thump

'He... blocked me?' Fria thought to herself. This had never happened before during her entire life. Not a single man or female had ever blocked her or left her first. Not a single person said one word of dismay or disapproval no matter what she did but now someone for the first time did all those things.

The biggest thing was that she couldn't message or talk it out with him because he blocked her. She had sent a message to him hoping to begin talking to him once again. She didn't know why she kept thinking about messaging him over and over again no matter what she did.

Even when she tried to distance herself from him and talk with other guys at the end of the day Kanzaki still came into her mind. She had tried to fight it before and pushed him away refusing to answer his calls or messages but in her mind, she knew that if she wanted to he would always come running back if she were to message him, or at least she thought.

Of course he would because every other man she had ever met had done so with no issues or qualms. Even married men would throw away their marriage just to have a chance at speaking with her so she had full confidence that Kanzaki would be the same, but he wasn't.

When she had messaged him she had been excited to see his reply excited to talk with him and see how he showered her with true love. Love that wasn't filled with lust but instead full of affection and wanting for her as a person.

However, that wasn't the case. He had taken a long time to reply to her which made her start to worry. She knew that he was busy with his job so her stress levels decreased slightly for a while but once she knew he was off she became worried when he didn't answer her message even after hours of waiting.

'What's happening he should have messaged me already? Why isn't he here begging for my attention and affection?' Fria thought to herself as she kept glancing at Cord waiting for the little prompt to say that he was typing.

It took over 2 hours of waiting and she had already been half asleep when she got a message from Kanzaki. She heard the little beep from her computer and quickly looked up with anticipation hoping that it was him. When her hopes were filled and it was truly Kanzaki messaging her it made her heart beat increase rapidly for some reason.

She didn't understand why he was different. She knew that in the past she had fallen for him but at this point, she thought she had shoved those feelings deep into the dirt. So far that they would never be found and never dug up but the way she was feeling now she wasn't so sure.

Fria had quickly opened up Cord to check the message and begin her journey with Kanzaki once again but she was surprised when there was only a one-word answer.

[Mask: Bye.]

When Fria saw this her heart started thumping at a rapid rate. She hadn't expected something like this and quickly tried to message him back saying some sort of sorry and to try and repair whatever feeling he had currently but when she tried to send a message she got another one.

[This user has blocked you. You can no longer send messages.]

When Fria saw this she was left in shock. Total and utter shock. She sat in her chair for over 10 minutes just staring at the blocked message until she finally moved. There was a single tear that fell from her eye and when she felt it she quickly wiped it wondering why she felt this way.

She had pushed him away and didn't want to be connected of course he would tell her no now. Of course she didn't deserve him she was awful. These were the thoughts in her head as she stared at the screen all night.
