Chapter 122( Unexpected action)

As Ren was finished absorbing the blood of the Uchiha clan and was now dressed and had his natural appearance hidden, he was preparing to leave to return to the village.

And as he was, he didn't know the lion sage was watching him from his temple, keeping a close eye on the events since he had arrived, after all with the commotion caused by his chakra, it would be weird if the lion sage didn't pay attention.

Having done everything he came to do, Ren turned a looked towards the direction of the lion sage temple and bowed as he disappeared in a puff of smoke.

Ren reappeared in his home, near the Uzumaki clan, and looked around, it was already turning dark but the Uzumaki clan was still relatively busy, so Ren exited his home and walked into the heart of the clan.

As he walked by the people looked at him smiling and bowing as he passed, Ren acknowledged them and continued, he was going to find the leader of the clan, he knew right now he only had one shortcoming and that was sealing jutsu.

Ren knew if he had learned seals before right now he would have the scroll he failed to get, if it was before absorbing the Uchiha bloodline he would say he had another weakness in illusion but that is now gone.

It didn't take long for Ren to arrive at the home of the Uzumaki clan head, as he entered the house and the two men sat down to have a conversation.

"Ren it seems you need something."

"Indeed, I have recently realized my shortcoming in the way of seals." Ren said as he sipped his tea and looked at the Uzumaki clan leader.

"Oh, well that won't do. There are many people in the clan that would be happy to teach you seals, as long as it isn't anything too secret." the clan head responded with a smile.

"Great, I'll find one to my liking when the time is right, but on to the important matters." says Ren.

"Sigh, is it the population requirement?"

"It is, soon we will introduce a proposal to the Uzumaki clan, to increase the rate of population growth, I'm sure you decline as it will be a great benefit to your clan." says Ren.

"I look forward to it."

After meeting with the Uzumaki clan leader Ren returned home and got some rest for the next day, as once again he would be leaving the village.

(Next morning)

Morning came quickly as Ren woke up and, quickly prepared to head out once again, he left and arrived at the Tsuchikage office.

"Are there any new reports?" Onoki's voice sounded as Ren approached.

Ren pushed open the door and entered to see Onoki speaking to an anbu shinobi kneeling on the ground.

Seeing the expression on Onoki's face, Ren was sure something had happened that they didn't plan for.

"What happened?" Ren asked getting Onoki's attention.

Instead, of responding to Ren Onoki picked up a scroll and threw it to Ren, as ren caught it and opened it to read its contents, as his expression changed.

"Has there been any follow-up action from the leaf?" Ren asked.

"No, it seems as if they were sending a message, but for a message, this serious it's not clear if the sand will take it without retaliation." says Onoki.

"I agree."

" But things aren't that bad." says Ren.

" Yeah, we didn't plan on this big of an action this early, but the fact of the matter is still the same, none of the great villages are ready for war, least of all the sand, with its infertile lands, and the leaf nows this as well." says Onoki.

" But we have to be prepared either way, things aren't guaranteed to go as we think." says Onoki.

" Do you want me to head there?" Ren asked.

" No. The anbu will handle it, you have something to do, but make sure to be quick just in case." says Onoki.

" Head back, keep an eye on the situation and report any changes back to me." says Onoki addressing the anbu ninja.

" Yes lord Tsuchikage."

WHOOSH!!!!

The anbu ninja disappeared.

" If the sand food situation is worse that we taught the war might start before we expected." says Ren.

" Even if they do, our plan still stands, we are either the ones who start the war or the last to join." says Onoki.
