Becoming Dungeon Fodder

[WPC 318- Dungeon] The world became a mess, with various gates opening everywhere. When special squads made by the government went in there, they could find different creatures inside it; some looked humanoid, while some were the embodiment of true beasts. There was panic everywhere, but it all went away when the special squads returned with a unique gift; they had started manifesting powers; some became very strong, while others had unbelievable powers looking like magic in real life. It all happened by killing the creatures inside the gates that humanity came to call 'dungeons.' After that, people started getting a 'system' telling them how strong they were. Just like that, several centuries passed, with humanity gaining superiority again. Kyle was also an ordinary evolver until a lousy situation led him to become a completely different entity he had never imagined. Follow his journey of unveiling the mysteries behind the so-called 'System'

Surprise

A muscular level 5 man with his team of 3 people was searching for a dungeon to explore on the notice board, there were a lot of them but he wanted something that can gain him more money.

His eyes stopped on a dungeon, the information about it was not much but the pay was pretty good.

"Woo-hoo! 800 gold coins for completion, 200 for more information about the dungeon." His eyes perked up and he pointed at it, the others of his team looked at it with a frown.

"A team has already gone there and hasn't come back, maybe they were killed..." A man with a robe and magic came said.

"What bullshit, it is just a trash skeleton dungeon, I am level 5 and you are all level 3s, what's there to worry about." The big man roared and went towards the exit after confirming the location.

"Let's go, we gotta travel 30 km towards the west."

They all sighed and went with their leader.

--

"Well, this is nostalgic," Kyle said while looking at a gate in the middle of a forest.

It had been a while since Kyle traveled in a dungeon like this, the portal thingy was better from his perspective.

There was no one around him and he did not know whether there was anyone inside the dungeon. He did not have to tell the reception about going there, after completing the dungeon, the person who completed it just had to tell the guild about it with some proof. After confirmation, they would get the completion reward.

While there were some problems with this method, the guild did not change to more efficient methods due to some reasons that the public does not know of.

He entered the dungeon calmly changing the situation around him completely. The surroundings were the same as his own dungeon. He quickly went forward meeting the same old low-level goblins.

Kyle had looked at the vital strikes technique, the first step told about the attacks that are effective against humanoids.

He went towards a goblin swiftly and hit just below its chest. The goblin spat a mouthful of saliva mixed with a little blood.

"Hm...this was meant to knock the wind out your lungs, but you are acting as if the hit will make you die...sheesh." Kyle laughed looking at the goblin whose eyes were wide, it was holding his stomach in pain.

[ +1 Dungeon points]

[+9 EXP]

"....The fuck?"

He looked at the limp body of the goblin with confusion. The attack on the solar plexus was done to make the goblin lose his shit for a while. But...it just died.

The other goblins were screaming very loudly, their will to fight already lost.

"Tsk...that's why I like my boys, they don't back off!" kyle went running killing everything in sight.

Meanwhile, in Kyle's dungeon, Alicia was looking at the various features she got when Kyle left with excitement.

She had all the authority aside from raiding other dungeons. The one that made her so excited was the shop. She didn't have any dungeon points, but just looking at the various things made her happy.

"There are so many heaven-defying techniques and skills here! Why did Kyle not buy from here?"

Her question was answered on her own, she became dumbfounded looking at their price.

"The energy arrows are really good, I have to ask Kyle to buy me this!"

The energy arrows were like unlimited arrows made from mana. Alicia had a huge amount of mana capacity, so the skill was best for her.

The skeletons on the other hand kept fighting with each other non-stop since Kyle left. Alicia first looked at them exercising but got bored by it quickly.

CRACK!

"Hm?" Her eyes darted towards the skeletons, a normal skeleton's dagger had broken with the metal blade on the ground. What surprised her was the glow in the other skeleton's daggers. It formed a coating on the dagger and looked like some kind of aura.

"Haha...Kyle will be happy!"

Meanwhile, it had been thirty minutes since Kyle entered the goblin dungeon. He was on the 4th floor already.

"I can kill the goblins below level 4 with one hit. It takes two or three with above level 4 ones. Well, it's a fruitful harvest."

Kyle smiled looking at his inventory, a pile of daggers at the side, and a small rugged cloth and bed for Alicia to sleep in.

"Now, only the boss left."

He entered there without any delay, a hobgoblin was sitting in a throne-like seat, It had skulls at the sides.

"You have a better throne, I'm envious~," Kyle said in a playful tone. He was liking the normal tone, unlike the hoarse voice.

"And I want it"

Kyle went running towards the goblin with his sword out, he had already learned the first few sword techniques from the scroll.

The hobgoblin had a huge club in its hand. Just from the size, Kyle could imagine the heavy weight.

The hobgoblin like always struck horizontally at Kyle, according to it, the attack was an instant kill. Said the trophies of war on his throne.

Kyle jumped casually, with his sword out, he attacked the hobgoblin's extended hand's armpit. The sword went inside the armpit like tofu, the hobgoblin shrieked in pain. It did not expect it. Some muscles connecting his arm tore and moved down his arm deforming it in the process.

It lost the strength in its left arm, the club fell to the ground and all Kyle could hear was the wincing. The hobgoblin who was holding the wound with his right hand looked at Kyle as if seen the devil.

"Man...the attack's too brutal. I may have to lessen its use. I feel pity for you now." Kyle was truly sad with the outcome. He had become a little cold-hearted but not to the extent of not feeling the pain of others at all.

SWING!

The sword decapitated the hobgoblin's head not making the hobgoblin struggle for nothing. Giving him the divine notifications. He was not too far from leveling up.

"Wait, it says I can convert the dungeon to points or assimilate it, but....how will I leave?"
