Planebound: Breaking the Chains of Fate
The void, a giant chasm stretching down to depths unknown, was first discovered 3000 years ago on the remote, southern island of Patala.
A most mysterious scape filled with horror and wonder, it enticed lords and thieves alike from all across the world to try their hand at conquering its unknowable end, for the precious treasures that lay in wait were unrivaled.
In the present day, a thriving city has been developed on Patala with the void as its nexus; adventurers still dive into its depths with the same fervor as their predecessors, save for one special case.
Heka is absolutely sick of the void. Growing up in the slums of Patala, she dreamt of leaving to explore the bright world around her, yet a curious curse keeps her bound to the tenebrious island, unable to ever leave its shores. She detests the obsession of her peers' with the void and wishes it would just disappear. Yet, it may end up being her only solution.
To fly, she must first descend.
