14 Belus and Quin

Belus opens his eye's wide open, his breathing is heavy and feels that every single muscle in his body is sore. Belus stretchs his body only to realize that he is laying down in a crystal coffin.

Belus looks around in the crystal coffin "Where im i?" Belus asks him self in wonder.

A painful sensation of pain starts pulsing through Belus head. Belus places his hands on his head, he starts rubbing his head intensely hoping to ease the throbbing pain. "why does my head feel like it was striked by a hammer" Belus said in a painful voice as he starts to find the throbbing pain to be unbearable.

Belus keeps one hand on his head kneading his scalp, while the other hand starts to push on the crystal coffin door. "Its locked i can't open it"

Belus starts punching the door with his right hand hoping for it to open by force, to his disappointment the crystal coffin door didn't even budge a single inch.

Belus starts to look around the coffin hoping to find somthing that will help him get out the coffin. He doesnt understand why he is in this crystal coffin in the first place. Belus lost all of his memories with the rebirth of his soul, he didnt know that he has gone through rebirth.

Belus spots a little note to his right side, he grabs on it while maintaining his other hand on his head to ease the throbing pain. "What is this?"

Belus looks at the note trying to figure out what is written on it. Belus lost his memories of his experiences but did not lose his basic knowledge of speaking or reading as that gets embedded in the persons soul for the after life.

Belus reads the contents of the note as his mind is no longer as fuzzy as it was when he had first awoken. "Child cross your fingers and say the following enchantment, Areoto." Belus crosses his finger and says the following enchantment

"Areoto" Belus shouts after crossing his fingers hoping it would work.

The crystal door that seemed like wouldn't budge an inch earlier now opens by itself, or more specifically the enchantment that Belus did earlier is the thing that opened the door.

Belus heads out of the coffin only to see himself in a grand hall that is as vast as the eye can see. Belus sees a young man in the distance sitting on the throne seemingly looking directly at him.

Belus heads towards the young man sitting on the throne not knowing who he is. The young man had beautiful golden eyes, golden hair along with beautiful feminine facial features if it werent for his Adam's apple people would mistake him for a beauty that is one in a billion. This young man that was sitting on the throne was no other than Leviant Quin.

"I see you have awakened from your slumber child, it's been a while since i have last seen you instead of thanking your savior you are just statring at me" Leviant Quin said laughing with his melody like voice.

Belus seemingly not understanding what Leviant Quin is saying to him, he looks at him confusingly as he himself doesn't have any sense of direction since he had lost his memories.

"Don't worry child I'm going to help you" Leviant Quin said seriously.

Leviant Quin place's his hand infront of him with a grabing motion, his aura starts emitting out of his body in the color of red and black. Fear strikes Belus heart as he feels the surrounding arua changing.

"GOLDEN WRATH" Leviant Quin shouts the enchantment.

A golden gravitational vortex apears in Leviant Quin, the vortex was so powerful that Belus couldnt resist it even if he tried. Belus throat lands perfectly in Leviant Quin hand, fear starts to well up in Belus heart as he feels the suction force still riling his blood.

"This is only going to hurt a little" Leviant Quin said while holding onto Belus throat.

Leviant Quin gestures another enchantment with his left hand as he holds Belus with his gravitational force. "GOLDEN GATES" Leviant Quin shouts.

Memories started appearing from Leviant Quin entering Belus mind forcefully. Belus starts feeling a sharp throbbing pain entering his head as the memories of his past flashes before his eyes.

Leviant Quin let's go of Belus makjng him fall on the floor. Belus crouches down on the floor as he fell wrapping his hands around his head "ARRRGHHHHHHBB AHHHHHH!!!!" Belus shouts at the top his lungs as the pulsing pain gets worse and worse with each heart beat.

"KILLLLLL MEEEEEEE PLEASEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!" Belus shouts as he feels his brain is beeing stabed by swords over and over again.

"Child you will have to endure this torment of pain for you to become who you previously was" Leviant Quin said.

"AHHHHH, ARGHHHHH" Belus continues screaming in the hall as his memories forcefully enter his mind.

Blood started coming out of Belus eye's, ears and mouth, the pain was truly agonizing for Belus he couldn't endure the pain he wanted to kill himself.

Belus falls unconscious from the pain yet his mind keeps waking him up, causing him to fall unconscious over a thousand times and being awakened a thousand times. Belus hoped that everytime he had awoken from his unconscious state that the pain will be gone only to find that the pain is still there and it's stronger than before.

This process lasted for an entire two day's, Leviant Quin watched over Belus as he was going through agonizing pain.

Belus true memories wouldn't have taken even a second for his mind to process as it was only 29 years worth of memories. What made the process take so long was because Leviant Quin gave him a copy of his own memories along with Belus memories.

Belus awakens from his unconscious state for the last time, he wakes up finding his body is naked and had a layer of black puse on it. Belus stands up straight with his body seemingly feeling fresh and fine. Belus kneels before Leviant Quin.

"Thank you for helping a person such as myself, God of Gold" Belus said with all sincerity in his heart as he finally understood who the person before him is.

"Im not the God of Gold that's what people always called me, you arent able to comprehend all of my memories even if you wanted too. I'm just gold's master that is all, when you master the element you have the most affinity towards you will understand what I'm talking about" Leviant Quin said.

"You are still my benefactor and i owe you this life of mines, i have to pay you back for this favor" Belus said with sincerity.

Looking through Leviant Quin memories Belus understood where he was at the moment, he was in the underworld where the souls of the dead come. Leviant Quin was called God of Gold as he was one of the twelve guardians in the underworld who protect this place. Leviant Quin experienced many hardships in his life and many more came as he started on the path of cultivation. ninety percent of the memories Belus couldn't comprehend what the meaning behind them are, he understood one thing for sure that Leviant Quin did for him can only be done once you can only pass your memories to one other person or else the Heavens will punish you, Leviant Quin chose him to be that person and he is forever grateful in his heart that he picked him.

"I need you to enter the path of cultivation to help me, consider me helping you as helping myself. I need to temper your mind and new body to be the best for cultivation" Leviant Quin said sincerely.

Leviant Quin pulls out an ancient stone platform from his spatial ring. "This is called Heavens Will, it's an ancient artifact that measures your will power for strength, the strength of your will power will determine the talent rank you will be able to achieve in this new body of yours. This item can be used once in a lifetime." Leviant Quin said smilingly.

Belus looks at the stone platform that is infront of him and his eye's can't help but look at the center of the platform. The center had a number ranging from 1 to 20 and it said talent rank on the bottom of the ancient platform.

"I'm forever grateful to you" Belus said as tears started forming in his eyes.

Belus knows if he is able to get on the path of cultivation he will be able to return to his world and find his family. The memories of the past are still digesting in his mind, he knows what happened to him in the past and what was his wife's situation like before he died. Belus will power is above the average person the reason being is the drive to get his family back together to live peacefully, to find his family to make sure they are safe, his thirst for power doesn't stem from him being greedy it comes from the heart, the heart to protect those who he loves the most.

"What help would you like me to do?" Belus asks respectfully.

"Don't worry of that now child your help will solely depend on what rank you are able to achieve, i dont have high hopes for you to get to the range that i want you to be at, but i think i have somthing that will help you achieve a higher ranking"

"There is alot of things that determine will power, there is revenge, there is also love, as well as thirst for power, etc. You see Belus since you know this is where souls come after someone has passed away, you also know that everyone who dies their soul goes to the underworld yard. That is where you were supposed to go but instead showed up in my domain. I have somthing interesting for you to see" Leviant Quin said

Leviant Quin pulls out a soul orb from spatial ring showing the dark purple luster it has to Belus.

"This is your son's soul orb, you will be able to see the last week of his life through this soul orb i regonized him from your memories when i seen him in the underworld yard." Leviant Quin tosses the soul orb to Belus.

Belus catches the soul orb that is thrown towards him, his hands start shaking as he look at the soul orb in his hand " It's Zena"
