Chapter 93 World of Adas [ 3 ]

-Asher Frostblade's point of view.

A few days later, they had finally arrived at the fairy realm; however, although they were about to enter, the place itself was small but also large.

Certainly unbelievable; however, Asher remained calm. Everything in this place could even be his own death if he did something he wasn't supposed to do.

Asher knew this, and therefore, he avoided looking around.

Everything was small; however, on a scale of size like the length and breadth of a city, the fairy realm is gigantic.

Of course, Asher had seen only a little; however, he did not look all around him.

The place gave a sense of awe.

However, he controlled his emotions.

Cefir then spoke.

"The queen's castle is at the top of the world tree."

"Then, we have to climb the tree."

"No."

Cefir then looked at Asher and Gloriana.

Gesturing with his hands, Cefir snapped his fingers and then....

Thud.

Suddenly they were somewhere else.

"Teleportation," Asher thought.

However, it was different. Asher didn't feel the mana distort, so it wasn't teleportation or something similar.

Rather, it was as if they had traveled at an incredible speed.

"Wait here."

Asher looked at Cephir, and just behind her stood a large castle. The castle wasn't too big; it was the equivalent size of a house about five meters tall and about ten meters wide.

However, the castle was basically the same or similar to a normal human-like castle; it differed in almost nothing, only its size.

Cefir then went through some doors in the castle.

There were some fairies fairly in front of the castle as they looked at the duo outside.

"Why are they looking at us?"

"Maybe they don't like us."

However, there was no answer.

The fairies were completely new to Asher; just a few days ago he learned of the existence of these fairies.

"Mmm."

One of the fairies, who looked like some kind of guard or a knight of the typical kind that guards the entrance of castles, approached the two.

"Why are there some humans here?"

"Uh, Cefir brought us."

"Eh, Miss Cefir?"

"That's right."

The fairy looked incredulous, but Asher paid her no mind.

In fact, everything since he came to this place was strange.

He wasn't used to it; despite being in this world, it was really hard to get used to.

But Asher understood.

"I can die."

However, Cephir said that he could not die depending on his actions.

Therefore, Asher kept still. He would not ask questions, and if he was asked anything, then he would answer truthfully.

After waiting a few minutes.

Clank.

The door opened and out came Cefir.

"Come in."

"..."

"..."

Asher and Gloriana looked at each other.

Then they looked at the entrance to the castle. How on earth would they be able to get into that place?

It was so small that only a cat or a puppy could get in, but Cephir....

"How do we get in?"

"..."

"Through the entrance," she answered.

"..."

Asher was still confused, though. How could they get into a space so small that only fairies could fit in there?

"My size..."

"Just get in and be done with it."

To that Asher could not complain. He walked up to the door, held out his hand, and suddenly, as if mana grabbed him, Asher started to feel weird.

"What the hell...?"

However, his vision became blurry, but he quickly opened his eyes, and what he saw in front of his eyes was a decorated hallway.

"What the...?"

Just then he looked back and could see Gloriana, who suddenly appeared out of nowhere.

"Hey, Asher, what was...?"

"Humans shrink when they come in here," Cephir said, stepping out from behind the door.

However, Asher was surprised to see that Cefir was his own height. He looked like a human with his normal height; however, he took it all in.

"So we're small in here."

"That's right."

Although surprising, Asher still didn't quite understand the whole thing.

Not only could fairies give mass to mana, they also had completely strange and different abilities from what he had seen before.

However, Asher had yet to see even a small part of all the existing abilities.

Gloriana, on the other hand, looked cheerful.

"Amazing, if I were this size outside I'd be a fairy."

"..."

Asher couldn't say anything at her comment; however, it was surprising.

How could she shrink her size that easily? However, he didn't sense any ability or any way for his size to shrink just like that out of nowhere.

"Follow me."

Cephir spoke as she began to move forward.

Asher and Gloriana followed her.

Truth be told, Asher noticed that the whole place was similar to the royal family's castle: same hallway and decor, just like the long endless corridors Asher was used to.

What the hell are fairies exactly?

Asher then thought.

"Their strength, their abilities, and their intelligence..."

This species was truly amazing. Hardly Cephir is this strong, and she's not the queen.

Then that also applies to the queen; if she is the queen, then she is also strong. However, how strong is she?

Could it be possible for her to be as strong as a tenth circle?

"Impossible."

It was really impossible for her to be too strong; a tenth circle power was comparable, it is even called a power that only gods can have.

Although maybe, and just maybe, Queen Ada is that strong as a tenth circle or a little inferior.

But Asher, just from seeing Cephir's abilities, could tell that Queen Ada had immense command over her power, abilities that Asher could not even imagine, and of course, her mana control.

Asher was anxious to see Queen Ada, but he was also nervous.

One quick move and Asher would be dead; who knows what fairy personalities are like. Cephir at first seemed childlike, but suddenly changed to a cold tone.

This confused Asher, but what could he do? Fairies were something new to him.

After a few seconds of walking, Cefir stopped, then approached a door and slowly opened it.

The first thing Asher felt was a chill. The mana... It was just thick, as if the gravitational force had tons of weight on top of it pushing the mana down.

Asher swallowed saliva; he began to feel nervous, yet he kept his composure.

He looked at Gloriana; she was the same way, so he grabbed her hand.

She saw him; then Asher gave her a little signal, and she understood.

Whatever the queen wants, the two of them must heed and do nothing useless.

Tap.

Then she took a step, and the pressure grew stronger.

"My queen, I brought the two humans who arrived."

At that moment, the mana pressure disappeared.

Then, a voice reached the ears of both of them.

"Humans, it's been a while since you came."

Asher felt choked; the fairy queen was incredibly strong.

Asher then knew at that moment.

If he did something really useless, it would all be over. Queen Ada didn't seem like the type to be calm; her tone of voice sounded like she was a bit angry.

However, Asher took one more step and then entered the place. It was just like the royal hall of the Mengral castle, however, there was only one throne at the end, and it was currently being occupied.

"She is... The queen of the fairies."

She was different; her hair color was dark, as was her skin. Her pupils were gray, she had a crown adorned with black crystals that emanated immense mana, and she was dressed in a dark dress.

She really gave off the feeling that she was the queen of darkness; however, that was a name Asher had just thought of.

"Is she...?"

"The queen of the fairies was my companion."

Encrid's voice reached his ears again.

"What? So, if she was your companion..."

"Yes, she is at least a tenth circle; you have in front of you a being with the power of a tenth circle."

"However, she is weaker than a true tenth circle."

Even if not a true tenth circle power, just its mere presence gave the feeling that no one could survive it.

Asher felt it; if the fairy queen came to Alpheas' world, then she would be the strongest being in the whole world; however, she is in this world, the fairy world.

"Let me out."

"..."

At Encrid's words, Asher was surprised.

He looked to his right; Gloriana was there, right beside him, staring at the fairy queen.

"Are you sure?"

"Yes, do; at any rate, at some point your friend would see me."

Asher didn't understand her words, however, he could make out something.

"So, you're planning to reveal light magic information at some point."

It was her idea, and though it was only a guess, however, it could be the case, though Asher couldn't quite tell.

It was then that his mana moved, however, at that moment, a gigantic pressure fell upon him.

"Keuk..."

He was completely crushed. He looked into the queen's eyes, and then his dark gaze was fixed on Asher's eyes; his face was incredibly cold.

However, Asher didn't stop and managed to get his mana to the moon-shaped tattoo.

"That mana..."

The queen's voice reached Asher's ears.

At that moment, a curtain of dark mana appeared. Slowly it took shape, and justly a figure with dark features and dark clothing appeared.

It was Encrid in his human form. The pressure falling on Asher disappeared, and suddenly the queen's voice echoed throughout the place.

"Encrid... Is that you...?"

"Long time no see, Elizabeth."

Asher was startled; however, he remained calm.

From one moment to the next, the queen changed her attitude to a nervous but also relieved one; it was as if she was looking at someone she really appreciated very much.

"This idiot was kind," Asher thought.

"Who is...?"

Gloriana spoke up.

"I'll explain more later, first let's look at what's going on."

***

-Scene change.

-Encrid Frostblade's point of view.

Encrid emerged from Asher's head; quickly, the mana caused him to take a form, and then he emerged in a human form.

He stared at the queen; her name is Elizabeth, and then Encrid spoke.

"Long time no see, Elizabeth."

Elizabeth, however, looked shocked.

After a few seconds, she spoke again.

"How are you... alive?"

"Actually, I'm not alive; I'm just a soul that was transferred to a sword and I can have a body because of my successor's mana."

"Successor?"

She looked at Asher, then Encrid spoke.

"Yes, quite a bit has happened and finally my successor found me."

"That's so, but how is it that you transferred your soul to a sword?"

"I did the same thing when I created the seven weapons."

"What? So, was it possible to use your soul as well?"

"That's right."

She looked surprised.

However, Encrid kept his gaze cold, something Elizabeth noticed, though she said nothing.

She knew Encrid's personality, and of course, Encrid was someone who helped her in the past.

"But, Encrid... The Alpheas world..."

"What's wrong?"

Encrid showed more seriousness.

He looked at Asher and then, waved his hand. Suddenly, mana surrounded Elizabeth and him in a round dome.

"We are isolated, so tell me, what will happen on the Alpheas world?"

"There will be a fourth dimensional rift."

"..."

"Wait, is that true? The gods came from the first dimensional rift, but you're telling me there was more than one?"

"I thought you knew. The second crack appeared a thousand years ago, the third crack appeared 500 years ago, and now the fourth will be eight years from now."

"You have a synchronicity, but the first crack, when the seven gods came out, appeared ten thousand years ago. Why did these others emerge until very recently and now a new one is coming?"

Encrid was impatient.

Actually, four rifts had appeared at this time: the first, with the appearance of the seven gods; the second, with stronger monsters; the third, with dragons; and now a new rift.

Encrid simply did not believe it.

If it's true, then they have a vague idea of what will come out of the rift this time.

"Do you remember what the god you killed said?"

"That's right, he said that at some point he would come, but I didn't know what he meant."

"Exactly. It's just a guess, but... a divine being could come out of the new rift."

"Impossible, there were only seven; it's impossible for a new one to appear."

However, Encrid did not deny it completely.

The last god standing, whom Encrid killed, said a few last words about someone else coming.

However, Encrid at the time did not understand what that god was referring to, but now he might have an idea.

"A monster with the power of a god."

"It's possible, but I'm not sure," Elizabeth replied.

However, this was all confusing to Encrid.

"Well, let's say a monster with god-like power will come out."

"You can put it that way."

But Encrid was engrossed at the idea; whatever would come out this time, it was just guesswork. Only on the day when the rift opens all will be revealed....
