Void and Feather

AN = Hello! I'm back after more than a week of rest. And, after refreshing my mind with novels and other things... I suddenly feel that my novel is not that good XD I don't have a story line pre made before doing chapters as I usually just made them up on the spot. Doing so made me realize some plot holes and unintentional nerfing of the MC. I want to restart over again but... No, I'm just gonna roll with it and make sense somehow. I want to finish the grail war before re writing the whole thing and that is IF I had the energy to do so.

P.S. I forgot about Void/Sirin and Fu Hua's feather. So, this chapter shows what is happening with them. 😅

P.S.S. Does HoV and K-423 have the same soul? The two are sides of Sirin's reincarnation, so in my opinion, they should be the same. Like how the two are just different personalities. One is Sirin's wish of vengeance, while the other is her wish to be a normal, happy girl.

-???-

Inside Kiana's Void Core, an entity is present. The entity is a girl with long white hair and orange glowing eyes, that had the same four-pointed star-shaped pupils as her. She wears the exact same battle dress as Kiana, from the star-shaped pin to the flounces with eyes.

The girl sat, crossed-legged upon a throne made of smooth white marble decorated with soft velvet cushions to counter the hard surface, inside of a half-broken throne room with a glass pane art of a white dragon above her throne.

She could be seen drumming her fingers on the armrest in annoyance with her eyes showing a hint of disappointment as she watched her counterpart trying very hard to convince this weak human to become her mentor from her Kiana's eyes.

She let out an irritated sigh and pinched the bridge of her nose, "This idiot is being too desperate... and here I thought she would have been smarter after merging. A fool would still be an idiot, if she's merged with another fool after all- You have got to be kidding me."

In her vision, she watched as Kiana turned into her herrscher form and introduced herself elegantly... but the amount of smugness and joy that was being shown from their connection ruined that image for her. Not that she needed them to know in the first place.

Normally, Void would have not cared about the things her counterpart does in the world. She would have rolled her eyes and frowned at the blatant use of their abilities but she had been in a very bad mood these recent days and needed something to vent on.

Why? Well, it all started back when that idiot saved that human city from the Honkai bomb. Void couldn't care less about the city, but Kiana sure does, and brought the damn bomb just above the troposphere before exploding right in her face.

Seeing that the body would need time to recuperate, Void was going to sleep for the time being to pass time but that idea had to be scrapped after suddenly feeling space starting to wrap around their body and pulled the two... Somewhere unfamiliar.

She couldn't connect herself with Kiana's other senses as she was unconscious at the moment, but she wouldn't have the time to do so as an excruciating pain came out of nowhere. It was painful. So painful that her knees gave out, making her fall to her knees and screamed for the first time in a very long time.

It felt like those Shicksal experiments, but worse.

Minutes felt like years as she tried her hardest to stay awake and fight back with only pure will. It was humiliating. It made her remember her time when she was just a powerless little girl that was being experimented on by cruel scientists.

She didn't know how long it had been, but after a while the pain quickly left, leaving her sweating and panting tiredly on the floor.

Anger. Confusion. Frustration. Those three were the primary emotions that Void was feeling at that moment. While gritting her teeth in frustration, she wiped the sweat off her forehead and tried to recover from the pain.

Questions were starting to make their way up her mind but were quickly discarded when she felt a very calming sensation trying to put her to sleep, while something was being inserted into her. She let out an irritated grunt and was determined to not let herself be humiliated once more.

She did her best to fight against the two, but all she had done was slow down the inevitable. Unknown to her, however, fighting back had made some problems to the process of what her counterpart was getting.

Laying down on the floor, Void felt drained, sleepy, confused, and... afraid. She didn't want to admit- No. She didn't know how, but she felt a tiny bit of fear in her heart that had long discarded such an emotion.

"Ugh..." A single irritated grunt was all that left her mouth as the darkness overtaken her.

Tuna Tuna Tuna~!

"Mmm..." Void mumbled in her very comfortable sleep. Even if it was on the floor, it had been very peaceful. The burning hatred and anger that burned in her heart had diminished for just this one moment, and it gave her some peace in her mind.

She felt like a little girl. Sleeping without worry... without hatred... without anger... Just peace and quiet... She had forgotten how it felt and wished she could just stay asleep for a bit more..."Reinforcement!"

...Which had been rudely denied as a painful shock woke her up from her peaceful slumber. At this point, Void felt something snapped inside of her usually tempered and calculating mind. After finally being able to rest without the thought of vengeance and hatred against humanity, something woke her up. Painfully.

She didn't understand how she was getting hurt but the voice of her counterpart says it all. With a frustrated frown on her face, Void clenched her fist and grumbled, "I'm... going to kill that fool and make her watch as I kill everything she loves!"

Why is she the one experiencing pain!? How?! Sure, this wasn't as bad as the last one but she was sleeping for Honkai's sake! Just because Herrschers don't need actual sleep, doesn't mean they wouldn't get mad for being rudely woken up with pain.

Void let out a grunt as she felt the pain slowly stop after a few minutes. She didn't waste any more time and tried to figure out what that fool was doing. That led to connecting with Kiana's senses, which she found was significantly harder to do than before.

Heat. Pain. Sore. Those were the first things that came through their connection. Kiana is shown breathing heavily through her mouth but was also smiling as if she had achieved something. Her eyes darted up to see a figure with red hair and golden eyes- 'What!?'

Void's eyes widened in shock before returning to normal as the figure became clearer. It was just a boy that had similar features to that damn woman. Clicking her tongue in annoyance, she ignored the boy for now and started going through her body.

It seemed that the pain her counterpart was feeling was greater than the one she had felt as she found signs of heat and energy throughout the body. The trajectory of these energy was similar to that of a circuit and at the same time, Void found lingering Honkai Energy with them.

'What had this fool done to the body?' She thought with a frustrated frown as she kept searching her body. Honkai Energy is not something that could just 'make heat' out of nowhere and hurt someone with Herrscher Physiology. They can withstand large amounts of Honkai Energy in their body before anything happens and they rarely do.

Not only that, the amount of energy found inside of her body was small. This is something that even D to C rank valkryies could have handle. So it was quite confusing that Kiana would be in a lot of pain just from all this.

After a few minutes of searching, Void felt intrigued at what she found. Inside the muscles or at least, something Kiana was feeling outside her. There was something in the air... It was similar to Honkai Energy but docile. It was just sitting there. Doing nothing.

After a couple tests, Void found the same energy inside of her limbs. Specifically, her arms.

Realizing this, Void hummed and frown. Did she try to gather that energy from the air? And if so what are they? Was she in a bubble universe? Or is this a branch in that damn tree? It didn't feel right because Honkai would have not let something like this exist. So where was she and how did they got here?

She shook her head and let out an annoyed sigh. She doesn't have enough information to make any kind of theory, it also didn't help that the barrier between her and Kiana had been repaired and strengthened by a few margin.

Unfortunately, that was enough to block her from searching her memories and interact with her through voice or illusion. The only way to get information was through listening to her thoughts and through her senses.

Void was visibly irritated by this fact and was going to cut their connection for the time being, but the thoughts of her counterpart were... odd...

"Why the hell did my energy go through the circuits-" "What!? Really?! My eye is orange!? That's-" "Eeek! It's the same as Void Drifter! I wonder if-" "Yum! Shirou's cooking is tasty as always, reminds me of-" "Hmm... That's a weird thought, maybe I-"

As time passed, Void had been gathering pieces of information but at the same time, a lot of questions. Who is 'Void Drifter' and why does she look like them? What are circuits? Why was she so giddy about the eye? And should she leave the boy alive to be her personal chef? Not that she needed food to live, but the taste of his food was splendid.

Some of these questions were quickly discarded as more information and questions took their place. After about half a day, Void finally found something that had put many pieces together and reinforced a few theories for her many, many questions.

'Maybe if I start regarding those emotions as mine instead of Kyle's or Kiana's, I wouldn't have to worry about this being a permanent thing... Maybe it could even quicken the pace of things for myself.'

Kyle. Who was he? Void questioned a day before and now she found it. A soul. He must have been that thing that had tried to invade her soul. Though, that theory changed to 'merge' after a few more thoughts after this one.

Something must have gone wrong if they are having problems like this... and it certainly was her fault... Good.

If she hadn't fought back against him before, she would have been merged with this fool. And she didn't want that. To be merged with this childish and immature counterpart made her cringe but the prospect of merging with Kyle had some... benefits.

One of them was his knowledge regarding everything in this world. He knows a lot of things that even she wondered how a teenager like him get them. Magecraft, Shirou, Fate, Servants, Mana, Od, and etc. Those were what she had found after hearing Kiana's thoughts for awhile.

But one thing stood out the most to her... and that was his knowledge of her. Void or better known in the past as Sirin. He essentially gave Kiana a sense of pity towards her and even when she felt a bit conflicted over it... She still couldn't help but feel like that.

He know her story. He know what she went through. He knows what she had done and will do, but even with that knowledge, there was no hatred. Even after she had killed millions or even billions of people, Kyle didn't condemn her and wants to give her a second chance.

Void merely scoffed at the fool. From how he thought about her, Kyle had only been a spectator. A person who watches everything unfold like some kind of story book. If he had experienced what she does first hand, he might as well kill her like all the others tried to do. Naive brat.

If being nice was all it take to bring her to the good side and stop her crusade of revenge against humanity, he would be in the same position as Kiana after the death of her precious teacher. Lost. Depressed. Self loathing. Suicidal.

Void merely shook her head and frowned as she continued watching from the eyes of Kiana. The arrogant little human kicked the box out of frustration and ended the interesting show with a fist fight, which Kiana had accepted.

Void sighed and cuts her connection with her sense of touch and watched as they get into a catfight. "Hmph, using violence as a mean to finish things off. How human..."

As she watched the proceeding fight, Void felt her mind going back to Kiana's explanation to the magus. Space manipulation? It's close but incorrect. As their title suggests, it's void manipulation. Not space manipulation.

Has she forgotten when she stopped those missiles by stopping time? Maybe that explosion had hit her head too hard... or those two are just too distracted with these world's system of power to remember about the past.

Letting out a condescending sigh, Void shook her head and watched as the fist fight between the two girls came to a stop by an unexpected interruption from Chef Boy. The proceedings after that weren't really important but it does gave her more information of some magecraft in the world.

Jewel Craft, Runes, and Boundary Fields. Those three were given a short explanation by the so-called 'prodigy' and they piqued her interest. Though they are inferior to her manipulation of both time, space, and more, she couldn't help but agree that they have some usage.

But for her? Not so much.

As the conversation comes to an end, one particular thing had caught her eye and that was the heart-shaped necklace on the girl's neck. "That is quite a powerful trump card. Judging from Kyle's knowledge of the girl, I estimate around 1.6 Million magical energy inside of that. Not counting if she missed a single day and energy usage that is..."

Although Void didn't fully understand the scale of that much power, from previous mentions of Kiana's thoughts. She reckoned a 1 to 10 conversion rate from HE to ME, but that's only an uneducated guess with no other information.

After the meeting finally ended -and for an idiotic excuse such as going to school by the 'prodigy'- Kiana hadn't done anything else that was considered 'fruitful' in Void's eyes. Though, her shower thoughts were quite wild today.

Void merely rolled her eyes at the memory and thought. Kyle's sexual preference added with Kiana's 'very' close relationship, caused them to see their old friends and teachers as potential partners for marriage. Which had caused quite an interesting scene.

Though, none of that mattered either way as Void cut off her connection with Kiana as the previous blushing high school girl went to bed with a peaceful smile on her face. Void let out a sigh as she started to stretch her arms and let out a sigh of pleasure.

Void felt this was her chance to try and replicate that feeling when she was forced asleep. Although, she didn't need to it, sleeping peacefully like before had opened up a few fond memories... and it was quite nice...

With just a snap of her fingers, the throne room was quickly replaced with a bedroom. It had light peach walls and brown wooden floor. The walls were decorated with empty picture frames that is purposely emptied out of anger.

A bed with a grey frame appeared next, with a purple blanket decorated with crescent moons and stars. Two big pillows, blue and purple respectively plopped into existence on the bed as well as a cute plushie of her most faithful servant and friend, Bella on the middle.

She couldn't help but feel frustrated that this was the only way her heart could stop burning in anger. It filled her with a calming nostalgia that could temporarily stopped her mind from going back to planning her crusade against humanity -which she have none at the moment, due to circumstances- but also reminded her of the girl that still lost after being given more power than she had now.

Unknowingly, Void unclenched her tensed fist as she change her armored dress to a more appropriate outfit, which was soft and silky purple pajamas before lying down on the soft mattress and hugging the blue pillow tightly.

Unknowingly, Void unclenched her tensed fist as she change her armored dress to a more appropriate outfit, which was soft and silky purple pajamas before lying down on the soft mattress and hugging the blue pillow tightly.

'...No. There is no way, I want this. Damn you, Kyle.' Is a short version of what she was feeling at the moment as she stared at the ceiling in silence. If anyone saw her at this moment, they would be stabbed by a Void Lance, Drown in the haze of Death, and be thrown into the quantum sea without mercy by Void herself.

'This is humiliating... Good thing there is no one here-' Her eyes widened in shock as everything quickly reverted back into the broken throne room with her pajamas instantly changing into her armored dress.

She quickly looked toward a certain direction and had an amused but irritated sneer. 'That energy... Fu Hua... So the immortal is still alive. It seems I wasn't the only one effected by the merging process of those two, if she starts recovering now.'

Then she realized what had happened. She. Herrscher of the Void. The one who started the Second and Fourth Impact, had been caught off guard by something as small as that burst of energy. "Tch! This is why I hate being comfortable..."

In another part of Kiana, a beautiful feather had finally started to glow a dim light.

Tuna Tuna Tuna~!

-Outside of the Mitsuzuri Dojo-

'CLOSED'

"Eh? Closed?" Kiana muttered in surprise.

*Vrrr! Vrrr! Vrrr!* *Click!* "Maya-san?" "Ahh! Kiana! I'm so sorry! Me and Saito are going to the hospital to check my father out. It's a bit of an emergency, so I can't open the dojo for today. I have given the news to some of the students and parents but I forgot about telling you. Please, help yourself with a holiday. I'll treat you some ramen later as an apology. Sorry!" *Beep! Beep! Beep!*

Kiana stared at the phone with a tinge of worry before letting out a sigh, "Dangit... I walked all the way here for nothing? That sucks... At least, I'm going to have free ramen later... Now... What am I going to do now?"

She looked around and a school building far away caught her eye. A playful smile could be seen on her face as she muttered, "I haven't actually explored the whole school yet... They wouldn't mind me checking the place out right?"

AN = So what do you think about this chapter? Not really an ideal continuation for me, but I'm trying to bring Void and Fu Hua into the story. I would probably need to re read the whole book to make me remember where I'm trying to go with it.

Omake : Honkai/Zero

"Keeper of the balance!" As Kiritsugu said the last words of the incantation. A bright flash of light and thick smoke, came from the magic circle. Kiritsugu merely stared before widening his eyes in shock when the figure spoke her first words.

"Wow... That is a lot of information to take in. Does the grail usually drop that much information and leave?" She asked with a pout before telling a joke. "I'm not that good in most academics but at least, I know what I'm going to do here."

"Who..." "Huh?" The servant turned to the voice of her master and smiled, "I see. So you're my master for this war right? Nice to meet you."

Kiritsugu merely stared as the smoke receded and revealed the full figure of his servant. She had long white hair tied in a ponytail. Her eyes are blue and she wears red cross-shaped earrings, a black crown-like accessory in her hair, a flowing cape reminiscent of flames, and white knight-like armor accented with black and orange.

Holding in one hand, the servant had a large great sword, with red and white as its primary colors and black as its accents. On the cross guard, Kiritsugu could see four different colored gems. Blue, red, yellow, and a fiery orange respectively.

"You... are not King Arthur." He said with a frown.

"Eh?" The servant tilted her head in confusion before chuckling, "Well of course I'm not. I wouldn't be a girl if I'm the King of Britain right? But rest assured master, I am quite capable in fighting. If you would take your time to see my parameters, you will understand."

Kiritsugu frowned at the servant and turned to his wife for answers. Irisviel nodded and checked her parameters. Her face turned to surprise, then shock and finally ending with an excited and playful look. "Whaa!? That's so strong!"

"Thank you, for the compliment." The servant humbly said as the giant great sword disappear into motes of red light. "Miss?"

"Oh! Right. My name is Irisviel von Einzbern, and your master is Kiritsugu Emiya, my husband!" She said with a cheerful tone. Kiana had a nostalgic smile when looking at the woman as it reminded her of her old self. "And what's yours?"

"Oh? Me?" Kiana looked at the two people in the room and smiled, "Right, I haven't introduce myself haven't I? Herrscher of Flamescion, in your service. But you can call me, Kiana Kaslana."

Tuna Tuna Tuna~!

"Well... That's one way to make a grand opening..." Kiana said with a wry smile.

"Hahaha! Yes it is, little girl! Now, what do you think about my offer?" The giant man said eccentrically in his floating chariot.

Kiana shook her head and gave him a sad smile, "I'm sorry, King Iskandar. But I have to decline. I have a wish to make and joining someone else would break my trust with my master."

"Hmm... Unfortunate, but a respectable reason-" Kiana immediately mute the burly man's voice as she looked above them. Kiana saw a purple portal, similar to the one she uses open up and a familiar figure flew down with a furious look on her face.

"I knew, something was very familiar here. You, white hair, how do you have those gems on your sword?" She asked- no. Demanded for an answer.

Kiana merely stared at the girl in shock before being brought out of shock by the voice of her master's wife, 'Kiana? What's wrong? Do you know her-' 'Run.' 'What?' 'I said run! Get Kiritsugu and Maya away from here!'

A purple portal immediately appeared below the white haired woman as she fell on top of her husband at his hiding spot. Kiana focused back on the purple haired herrscher in front of her and readied her sword.

"Hey! That's my ability!" She said in an angry tone. "You cheater! How dare you use what have been given to me by God!" With a snap of a finger, a red battleship started to appear above the three servant but Kiana didn't let her finish.

With a slash, her sword sliced space and time, immediately destroying the warship she was trying to make. The purple haired girl stared at the girl with childish anger as she said, "Who are you and why do you have my powers!"

Kiana took a deep breath as flames started blazing from her sword, "I'm Kiana Kaslana. It's good to see you again, Sirin. Sadly, it seems that you're a bit too angry at me to have a civil talk, so... bring it on."
