On the east side of the village, the second border gate had soldiers ready to attack at moment’s notice. They are patrolling and the guards are changed only when the replacement is in the position. Everyone is scared of what will be the situation when the vatakku attacks. Another person in the east was standing with the telescope in hand. He was waiting for the second group to join them.
Tom was sent first with commander Roux to get ready for the attack. They made a silent entry to the cap making sure not to give out any sign of movement to the others around them. The second group arrived at the midday with the captain in the lead. The gate slowly opened and the soldiers entered by pulling the reins of the horses. Inside commander Roux and
Tom stood side by side bowing their head. “How is it on the west side?”
“Their movement is usual; they are not making any movement to attack,” Roux said as he walked beside him to the other side of the wall.
