The lvl 4 perception had increased my sensitivity to Li by a lot and my practice speed was leeps and bounds better than other disciples

Luckily disciples with the lvl 3 perception were more common as this could be increased by eating elixirs that boosted their senses, of course there was a limit to how many they could consume and lvl 3 talent was the best they could get unless they purchased even more rare and expensive elixirs

The Qianli sect wasn't very big with around 500 disciples joining the sect every year of which 50 were inner disciples, the rest were mostly all outer and servant disciples and few core and direct disciples

As I lay I felt my body filling up with Li like a hose pouring water into an empty bucket, once my whole body was filled with countless starlights that formed rivers I could sense my Meridians

Meridians were similar to blood vessels but the instead of blood it was Li that flowed through the meridians into the rest of the body

When I finally opened my eyes it was already morning, I had lost myself in this listless feeling for the entire night

Thanks to all the talents I had racked up practicing Jin arts was a peace of cake, others would doing what I did nearly impossible as their bodies would reject Li when first trying to absorb it, but thanks to my stamina talent I could absorb the energy without trouble and thanks to the perception talent I could guide it into my body effortlessly

When I got up and stretched I could feel strength in my body like never before, I went outside after getting dressed and went to the training yard where there were many dummies made of different types of wood each with their own durability

Usually servant disciples would be in charge of changing them out when damaged as one of their chores which was what helped them to remain in the sect, changing them out wasn't difficult but they would receive points which they could trade for food, necessities, or if they collected enough to select more techniques from the first floor

As a good Samaritan I decided to help them to create more of these tasks that were rewarding, I stood in front of the dummy and got in a stance that belonged to the deadly hands technique while controlling the Li in my body to move along my Meridians toward my fist and punched forward

*crack*

The dummy splintered as cracks formed on it and debris flew out the back side, my strength had increased dramatically within one night, I went from having ordinary strength of a teen to having the strength of a bull

This of course wasn't too abnormal as any disciple at the Novice Jin rank had this kind of strength, what was amazing was that I had achieved this in a single night

Even those who used elixirs to increase their talent could not do this, one reason was that even if they had a high perception talent they lacked the necessary stamina talent, this meant that they would absorb a large amount of Li but their bodies would reject most of it and it would take several weeks to finally break through to the Novice Jin rank
