Telling headmaster luna she ordered all of us to rush to a safe area, it was already night so i could at least run 3 times faster thanks to the moonlight rush. Making us able to travel very long distances as i wasnt a burden for now. Then theres the sleeping xavier!

We asked headmaster luna what the problem was and she replied "our enemy right now is a corrupted human... a human corrupted by darkness, even the most honorable, friendly and nice person can become one of them."

I asked annie "what does the corrupted human want with xavier?" And she replied with a thumbs up and said "i think it just wanted a boyfriend."

We started resting for a bit to regain some energy, leaning our backs on trees, and we just drop the sleeping xavier on the soil.

We thought of making a campfire but we knew the thing would find us. But even if we didnt... it found us...

Only after a brief rest everything was silent, no birds chirping, no insects flying, and no moon was present... we all knew it.

Suddenly i started hearing whispers, looking around me so were they. I knew the hands were weak to fire and light.

So opening my bag and keeping xavier close with us, i took out a light grenade and threw it at the sky.

It exploded, it lightened some of the darkness but i took the wrong grenade. Taking another, the darkness was getting closer.

I threw it at the sky again and it exploded a gigantic flash of light, the darkness disappeared. i looked around me and i see annie rolling on the ground shouting "MY EYES! MY FUCKING EYES!"

I said "whoops sorry about that, forgot about the headsup." Then i took a healing potion and poured it all over her eyes.

As she did a sigh of relief i saw juliet fly past us, and hit a tree then lie unconcious.

Then a human with a blindfold, appeared behind us it was only wearing normal clothes.

The headmaster tried to cast a spell but she was immobilised by a handful of shadow hands coming from the ground and then pinning her on the ground.

Annie gave me her sword first before being dragged into the darkness by more shadow hands.

And i also managed to grab her right glove. It was too big for me so i tied it up with a piece of rope.

The corrupted man was looking at me and asked "what... are you?" Looking at me i said "i am human... thats it"

He said to me "i can see your soul... you..." then he appeared right next to me and whispered "you have a soul... darker than anything i have ever seen..."

Then punched me, i blocked it but even so, he dislocated my arm and broke it. This might either be the adrenaline or my immortality speaking but...

I fixed my arm and said to him "is that all? I dont feel shit!"
