Ancient Earth

In 2402 the earth suffered an upheaval as a new source of energy, thought to originally be dark matter, begins to erupt from Earth's core, killing all life, or so we thought, as 5 new races evolved into intelligent beings. One of those being the lowest of that 5, the Alpeno. A race of beast tamers and tribal warrior hunters. Our young hero hails from these groups of Alpeno as an outcast, when he meets what seems to be the last human. Or is it? Welcome to Ancient Earth. I appreciate any feedback, as I am not yet used to writing I'm writing this not to get any attention, but because it's my hobby/passion project. Depending on how many people want to read this I'll make chapter at a faster pace, but until then I'll put them out when I have free time.
