Chapter 1: The Old Man

Jaden Cooper, a 21 year old otaku, he had black hair almost as dark as darkness itself, his eyes are a cyan blue color that if they were brighter they would be neon, he was reading the new chapter of the One Piece manga in his room, when a black sphere passes through the wall in front of him heading towards him, Jaden is scared and when he tries to get up and run,but he is sucked into the sphere and both disappear from his room, as if they never existed .

>Scene Break<

In a place without light or darkness, without life or death, only the void, we see a being with a humanoid form, but without any facial features, just a ball of blue light.

"I'M DEAD WON'T SOMEONE COME GET ME OR REINCARNATE ME?!" Jaden screams in another fit of rage that he's already lost count of how much he's had since he arrived in this place.

While Jaden is screaming a crack that seems to tear reality itself appears in front of him, after a few minutes of contemplation a figure comes out of the crack.

Jaden sees that the figure is that of an old man, the man had white hair and a long beard as white as snow, the old man wore a white robe with black accents that for a split second Jaden could swear he saw bright stars in these details, the old man was also holding a staff which at the end had a cube floating above the staff, the cube was transparent with a cyan light rotating in the center of the cube.

The old man looks at Jaden with a surprised face and at the same time… scared?

After a few minutes of both looking at each other the old man coughs and waves his staff, the landscape around Jaden and the Old man changes, looking around Jaden sees walls made s wooden with some white details that look like paper, looking at the ceiling Jaden sees that the ceiling doesn't exist?! all Jaden can see is the void, between Jaden and the old man is a low table with a cushion on either side of the table.

"Please sit down" The Old Man says to Jaden as he sits on the cushion.

Jaden then sat down on the cushion in front of him, Jaden realizes that his body has returned to the same as before he came to here, and while looking to his hand he looks away at the floor and realizes that the floor is made of tatami.

The Old Man snaps his fingers and then a teapot with two glasses made of porcelain appears on the small table, the Old Man then takes the teapot and fills both cups with green tea.

"Please drink" The Old Man says to Jaden as he takes a sip of his tea.

"Well then let's see who you are" the Old Man then hits the tatami with his staff and the cube that is on his staff glows, at the same time a screen appears floating between Jaden and the Old Man, on the screen appears a woman in the hospital where she is in labor.

Jaden looking at the screen with wide eyes in astonishment, because he knows who is that woman, she and her Mother but with a younger face, so Jaden finally understands what is happening, he connects the dots and finds out that he is in an isekai and about to get his hack from this Old Man, contrary to his earlier theory that he was in hell or something.

Neither Jaden nor the Old Man speak, they just watch the screen showing Jaden's life from the beginning.

Some time later on the screen appears a boy with black hair and almost neon cyan eyes, the boy seems to be 5 years old, beside him was his mother and father, who are wearing red robes with black stripes and gold bracelets on their arms, they are in a field where there are several other people dressed like the couple with the only difference that they don't wear the bracelets like the couple.

*Blem, Blem, Blem*

Everyone in the field hears three bells, so they all walk in the same direction a church, when Jaden and his family arrive at the church, the couple look at little Jaden and say: "go play with the other Jaden children" they say as they point to a playground that is next to the church where several other children are playing, as only adults can enter the church.

While the children are playing Jaden sits on the swing alone after 20 minutes of playing. pure boredom Jaden looks at the church and sees a man wearing a red robe with white stripes and has a gold bracelet comes out of a door, after the man leaves Jaden notices that the door is not closed it is ajar, Jaden like any normal child seeing an unknown open door to do what every boy would do, starts playing explorer, Jaden then walks to the door he pushes the door and enters, in front of him there is a staircase going down to a dimly lit door, Jaden gets a little scared but still continues down the stairs until you reach the door.

When Jaden opens the door a little he smells a metallic smell when opening the door more Jaden finds himself in a hallway with two doors on each side and a metal door at the end of the hallway, Jaden then decides to explore each door, starting with the first door to right, Jaden then walks to the door and opens it, inside the room Jaden sees that the whole room is lit by a red light and has various cameras and photos hanging all over the room, as Jaden couldn't reach the photos he lost interest across the room.

Jaden then walked towards the first room on the left, opening the door Jaden sees that inside the room there is a desk with a computer, a dial phone and a typewriter, on the walls Jaden sees shelves with several plastic boxes, Jaden walks to the desk and looks at the computer, then he starts pressing various buttons on the keyboard but nothing happens, so Jaden gets bored and looks at the dial phone, Jaden then picks up the phone and starts spinning it, but again he gets bored and looks at the typewriter and starts pressing the typewriter letters writing sentences wrongly because he is still learning English, but after the typewriter goes all the way to the right and the buttons don't type anymore, Jaden also loses his interest and when he was about to leave Jaden looks at a box that is on the floor near the shelf, Jaden then walks to the plastic organizer box pulling the sides, after opening the box Ja den sees a bunch of yellow folders in a row he takes a random folder that says Hilary, Jaden then opens the yellow folder inside there is a sheet with a 3x4 photo of a woman with her name, age and all other information like weight and height, going to the next page Jaden sees two pictures, a picture of a girl in a demon costume, and another photo of the same girl in a demon costume lying on a marble table with a gold and silver dagger piercing her chest, Jaden found that these two pictures were rare cards from his favorite game Dungeons & Dragons, so Jaden hides them inside his underwear so that his parents can't find the 'cards', because as religious they thought these games were Lucifer's work.

After finding the 'rare letters' Jaden lost interest in the yellow folder and the box, so he put the folder away and then closed the box, looking around and not seeing anything that was interesting Jaden then leaves the room and walks towards second door on the right.

Opening the door Jaden looks to the right side of the room and sees several angel costumes suspended by a coat rack, looking to the left, Jaden sees several demon costumes stuck in a coat rack, in front of him Jaden sees a table with two chairs and two mirrors on the wall, Jaden climbs on the chair and sees that on the table there are several brushes and squares of various colors, Jaden then runs his finger on a brown square hoping it is chocolate, but the only thing that tastes like is earth then Jaden quickly leaves the room angrily for not being chocolate.

Jaden goes to the penultimate door, the second door on the left, opening the door Jaden smells a dirty litter box, inside Jaden sees several buckets with brown stains on them, the floor is all dirty, Jaden can't even see what color and the floor, the wall in front of him only has chains attached to the walls and nothing else, not even light like in the other rooms, Jaden as he doesn't like to get dirty quickly closes the door he then turns to the last door.

Jaden walks to the metal door, he takes the latch and pulls it, but nothing happens unless he feels a pain in his hand because the handle was frozen, Jaden then loses interest in that door and walks to the exit, but before leaving he turns around and gives the metal door his tongue, Jaden then goes back to the swing and waits for his parents to leave the church.
