The makeup artist carefully placed the crown on Keira Leaf's head, on top of the long veil. A hint of bewilderment flashed through Keira's eyes - she had never thought that there would be a day she would wear a white wedding dress for a man.
After some urging, Keira finally walked out, and Joshua Sulliven, unbeknownst to her, had been waiting in front of the door all along.
"Why are you here?" Keira couldn't help but ask softly.
Joshua glanced at the crown on her head: "I came to wait for you after changing my clothes."
Keira smiled enchantingly and walked with him, arm in arm, to the end of the great hall, which was also the end of the red carpet. Only then did she notice that all the glass windows on the first floor of the hotel were wide open, connecting to the lawn outside. This way, they wouldn't feel cold, and their field of vision would be more open.
"Do we need to walk the red carpet for an engagement too?" Keira asked softly.
