Summoning the elemental spirits kings?!

"Zezen??"

"Hello, you there?"

August said but no matter how many times  he shouted out, the other party  seemed to disappear completely.

August was speechless at the other party's irresponsible behaviour, but then he sighed.

He knows from the very start that the voice doesn't belong to any living entity or at least he was sure that the entity had already left this place after leaving behind the message.

Knowing it,  it will only waste his time if he continues shouting zezen names, and time is the only thing that he lacks as of now.

So he focused his attention back on the main topic which was to convince the other elements and to save the world from destruction.

Which will also mean his death too, though he does have one more  lifeline, but August wanted to save that for future use.

It only took him one week to  merge his consciousness back with the planet, unlike before where it  almost took a decade.

Now that he is free to go anywhere, his next task is to communicate  with the five elemental spirits somehow to convince them so that he can use their help to save the world.

Thinking that, August arrived at stronghold 45,  also known as the home of Spirit land.

As the name suggests, spirit land is one of the human strongholds where they summon different elemental spirits to form bound with them as an eternal partner.

The one who summon and bond with the spirits  are called spirit warriors. 

According to them, when the world was just  created ,   There were Five elemental spirits who helped the Gods to  nature the world with their respective elements. Those five legendary  spirits  were  known as the elemental king's later on.

The first,  Fire spirit king, Asmoldous, provided fire to protect them from cold and to also defend themselves from their enemy.

Water spirit king, Neptune nature the world with water and they provided them the  energy of healing.

Mother earth, Gia provided them    sturdy and fertile land, which provided them food as well as a house to live in.

Wind spirit Queen, Nerphm, gifts them with ever flowing and everlasting air.

And lastly the most powerful, mysterious of all the elemental spirit and also  the leader of all the spirit, the spirit king of space.

Space spirit king, Xexon.

As the elemental kings were too powerful entities for the world and could cause it destruction because of their limitless and overflowing prowess,  they  left the world and started living in a new realm where they won't affect the world in any way, but could also provide help to save the world when needed.

 But as a farewell they left a way of communication in the form of a magic circle in different parts of  Agron. In hope that one day they could help Good people to save the world, they all natured with love and care.

It was also because of this rule,   only children within an age group of 5 to 10  could summon the spirits and bond with them as their partners.

"As only children are deemed as Good and innocent, right?"

It was something August came to know in his previous life, when he was observing humans he saw a group of people controlling fire and riding the air freely, the more he observed that group of unknown origin  the more interested he became.

Though he can't speak   nor he could ask any quarries about the strange looking creatures flying around them all the time,  also the reason behind their technique by which they can control fire and air as if they were their limbs.

He could observe them continuously  until they eventually led him to all of his answers.

This was something August loved to do every time, back in previous life, whenever he found some strange or an unknown technique to learn.

It won't be a  lie to estimate August as  the most knowledgeable entity in the world as of now , as he is someone  who almost know about every profession available in the world that is  forging, formation , apothecary, martial ,weapon arts and other as back of his hand to at least intermediate level.

But even if he did know everything about magic and all, he can't summon a spirit without the help of a magic circle,  but in his current form where he doesn't posses any body nor any medium it was almost impossible to draw a magic circle for himself.

Because of this he decided to use the magic circle inside, The elementals kings  temple, and for the  first try, he decided to visit the temple of , the fire spirit king.

"Hmm, I should be nearing the fire temple soon." said August as he looked down from the sky  as if he was flying.

Though he can't feel temperature in his current form,  he could surely discern that the  temperature soared  by several degrees by viewing the vapour and steam coming out from the barren land, the  closer he get to the Asmoldous temple.

Not long after an active volcano appeared In his view, But to August it looked like a huge  funnel with a red hot liquid inside it, not far  from the volcano an building could be seen with a number of people roaming around it.

August couldn't help but be shocked even when he know  about it beforehand. The area around an active volcano is too hot to even melt steel in an instant, but for some reason the temple materials seem unaffected by the temperature.

It was also true for the people that lived here  to worship and to cultivate   in a land where there was no flora and fauna , where water would become steam the moment it brought out in the atmosphere.

There was only one word that came to August's mind seeing all this.

HeIl.

It was also because  of this, he decided to come to Almodous temple on an immediate basis.

Cause for Him, the fire spirit king Almodous would be the most hard to convince , and August like challenges.

August slowly descended inside the temple to summon his first spirit.

August observed the walls inside the temple that have been turned into red brown colour due to overwhelming heat.

August doesn't  know the origin  of material that  has been used to build the temple which is capable enough to   withstand such heat, but he sure was interested.

Except for the red brown walls there were also fire torches at the both sides of the walls opposite to each other, just like a dungeon or basement.

But the thing that most surprised August is the painting at the end of the temple, when he  first Visited the Temple in his previous life  cause of just sheer curiosity, he didn't paid any heed to any of the thing in the temple, he just overviewed  everything and left for more interesting thing that was  waiting for him to discover.

But Know the more he looked at the painting the more shocked he became, The painting is 5 meter in length like an majestic scripture of an ancient being, inside the painting  an humanoid shape could be seen made out of fire, his brining  hair and fiery eyes that could turn  anyone to ashes just by an glance.

His handsome face and his body structure itself gave a feeling of an omniscient being that could put the whole thing to fire in an instant. 

"Asmoldous!!"

August said to himself  after closely observing the portrait.

Though the five elemental spirits have left the world way before any creature birth, some people didn't want to forget such a being just like that.

Not only they don't want to forget it, they also wanted other people to worship and bow before them for the great things they have done for all of them.

Taking all that in consideration they built different temples at different places so that everyone could know about how limitlessly powerful their Gods really are ,In spirit warrior eyes the five elementals spirits are like God's in itself.

August could only sigh at this thought, he had already seen the opposite side of every creature in the universe.

He shifted his gaze, Below the painting  an circular podium came to his view  on which a large magic circle is drawn, seeing the magic circle August eyes started to shine brightly.

The magic circle drawn at the podium is said to be capable of summoning the fire elemental king itself, but until now none really dared   tried using it.

Why, the answer is simple.

The fire spirit king Asmoldous is known to be the lord of destruction capable enough to demolish a country with a single basic spell.

It is said that Asmoldous is on par  with  the leader of the elementals spirit, the space spirit king,  Xexon , when it came to power and destruction, but because he didn't possess much of  leadership quality in him and often like to fight alone without caring about anyone, he wasn't choses as an suitable leader in the past.

Though Asmoldous didn't oppose this but  he didn't also   feel  himself somewhat lesser when it came to xenon, because of this he became prideful and built up a childish personality.

He started throwing tantrums and opposing xenon every order in his own way, the other spirit also noticed  a little spark of enmity between xenon and asmolodous, but even though they know all that, none of them dared to intervene in their business.

It was because of this reason none of the spirit warrior's  dare  to summon asmolodous  until now, cause knowing his personality he would most likely burn the summoner to ashes and the whole stronghold with him, as an act of offence.

Asmoldous won't bound with any insignificant being, but he would only bound to someone who he himself deemed worthy enough to be his master.

August knows all that, and it was also because of this thing he couldn't  help but be nervous to summon asmolodous, he wasn't afraid for himself as he know for sure that no matter how much prideful and childish asmolodous maybe , he won't ever destroy the world  he nature himself.

But it can't be said for the people in the stronghold too, it was true that asmolodous won't harm August in any way, but what about the other people present  here or  in the range of five miles, what about them?
