AI the Storyteller

Mal is beginning his new adventure as a video game writer, after previous plans fell through quite dramatically. Not used to writing fantasy, he's desperate for inspiration and experience to land him a job. This desperation leads him to take a trial for an experimental system from an obscure Biomedical technology research company started by a close friend. This technology implants his conscious state into a virtual reality that feels more real than virtual. Hoping this will give him the inspiration he needs, he's bound to experience everything he possibly can to the full extent of the system guiding him. Yet this system seems more capable than his friend let on. Almost... intelligent. Aware, even. Is Mal testing the technology at the brink of a new era? Or will he be another example of why this technology is losing support?
