CHAPTER 1 ::- The Founding Fathers

The day have broken and the sun rising from the East in agulu village one of the village in eri clan, While the weather is worm and a little cold as the wind comes and goes.

The environment is colourful and the leaves and trees green and lush as usual giving of the nature vibes, Which the natives usually thank the goddess of nature and the earth goddess for there wonders.

Omalinze who came out from his hot and looked around allowed the blissful air to Caresse him, he felt the moisture in the air which tells him of the rain coming.

"Today will be a good day." He said smiling, He went back and came out with stuffs tied with a cloth on his back and off he went out into the forest as the birds makes there musical sound.

After walking for hours he sat down in the forest to rest and he heard a movement behind him behold as he turned, the trees nearby started shaking greatly.

He picked up his spear and Drew his sword ready to fight, A forest maiden came out.

Her hair are greenish in colour, her eyes also green while her skin is chocolate.

"Do not be afraid I won't hurt you." She said trying to ease omalinze tension, she walks two steps towards him.

He walks back gradually and stopped as his heart beats fast.

"You are not human." He said and still held his sword and spear tightly.

She came near and sniff on him then she walks about him and sniff again.

"You are far from home young warrior." She said and smile,

Omalinze lowered his weapons. "I have a mission to unify this lands and ones beyond and no mortal nor spirit will stop me."

He said with persistent in his voice. She touched him and he shivers a bit and regained himself. she disappeared into tin air, Omalinze took his belongings and ran off.

Omalinze came into a village called Abiriw after many days of walks.

He looked around and found out that the natives dress differently,

He walked tired and slowly like his bones are broken to a native before he could talk warriors have rounded him with Spears and arrows pointing at him.

His legs became soft like tofu then collapsed. the warriors took him to there chief and layed him on the floor.

There chief named Adjo came forward and inspect the stranger laying down on the ground. those whom were around were surprised and astonished.

They haven't had a contact with strangers from faraway. The fear of the unknown griped there heart as they wait for there shamans answers of his findings.

A warrior named Aboagye came, he bent down and touched Omalinze's head and images were shown to him.

"warriors take this stranger to the prison." said the chief Adjo and he went back inside his hot, Aboagye left and the warriors took him inside the prison.

In the morning omalinze is already awake, he looked round him and felt as a stranger while the men in the prison with him gave him space.

He felt a little unease and he became angry. "No man, woman nor spirit will stop me from uniting this lands and ones beyond, only death can" he said it and stood up.

"I have never seen a man who have such guts, I will journey with you to the end of the world to accomplish this mission." said Aboagye who is coming towards the prison gate.

He looked at Omalinze as he opened the gate. omalinze came out and Rico a prisoner stretch his right hand towards omalinze and said.

"I am a prisoner today but tomorrow I will be remembered as a warrior who made the right decision. i am will to pay the price brother."

Omalinze turned, "May the gods answer us and the stars guide us while the moon brighten our path." said Omalinze and they shook a warriors hand shake.

There weapons were brought to them by other warriors.

They journeyd through the forest of Adoagyiri to Anum-boso avoiding any warriors. for may days and moon's they walk with their morals high, they reach a lake and saw a mermaid in full human form.

She looked at them as they pass, " Young mortals the road is rough and tiny but your mission will be accomplished" said the mermaid as she walks straight to them.

"She is a mermaid a water spirit" said omalinze in hast as they stopped and raised their weapons. kengani king of the Zaire forest came.

"you are in the Zaire territory state your mission or face my sword" kengani said to the three strangers.

"Our mission is to speak with the gods about the unification of Africa as one." replied omalinze kengani stretch his hands forward, "I king kengani I will join your cause and my sword will be yours."

they all stretch their hands together forming circles and they all said in unison, "Now we take this oath never to hurt or harm each other but to protect and complete our mission."

They all tap their chest twice a phoenix appear flying towards omalinze and he stretch his right hand then it perch on his hand and disappeared.

"This phoenix will heal you all and will show you the way. may the gods be and protect you all." she disappeared. they all began there journey,

Kengani led the way for he new the lands more than the others. they journeyd all day and night committed to there cause.

The four men were amazed at such beautiful scene, the ground shook and the soil kept on changing shapes as the alter builds itself. the fairies light went off and thunder started terrorising the forest and it's environment.

Omalinze and his company's scrape for safety while a very big dark smoke cloud coverd the alter, this event gave the four warriors a sense of danger.

After few minutes it stopped and the Phoenix appear, she flew up round the alter coverd by a thick dark smoking cloud, she then flew up and displayed herself majestically.

Omalinze kengani Rico and Aboagye kept on watching her before fly back and entered Into the dark smoking cloud. it be came white without much time to wast the young men followed the Phoenix.

They woke up without recognizing were they were. all they could see is smoke around them forming a tunnel wall and emitting red light around while thunder lighting are seen inside the smoke striking.

"are we beneath the soil." said Rico as they all Drew there weapons.

Sounds of all kinds of magical beasts were heard. "this is the spirit world and we are being tested by the High Priestess." replied Aboagye.

They kept on moving forward as the smoking cloud wall directs them and behind them the smoke kept on closing. A two headed beasts came face to face with them and the smoking cloud disappeared giving them enough space to battle.

The high Priestess watching them through a magical liquid mirror in her own cave. she watch the warriors as they battle the beast, they tried there best as the beast swing his paws

Omalinze and kengani fell and grunt in pains, the beast faced Rico and Aboagye then let out a big roar which send fear and shivering down there spines as they all gasped for their last breath.

The beast swing his paws again and it tour their skin, blood came out like water, omalinze stood up "only death can stop us beast!" omalinze took a deep breath and the beast turned and face omalinze.

"Omalinze you are going to die." said kengani, the beast swing his paws and it's claws cut deeper inside omalinze as the force pulled him up and down heavy.

Blood kept on flowing, omalinze stood up "I will willing give my life brothers and you make shour that our mission is completed." said omalinze and the three others scrambled up to there feet and kept on moving forward with there soar wounds.

He looked at the beast face fearsely and raised his spear "gods of my forefathers do not let me down." he said the prayer and held the spear tight as the beast let out a more horrifying roar and ran towards him.

He threw the spear with his last strength and it went deeper into the beast and it ran and fell causing and upsetting the dust of the earth. he sighted the beast dead and collapsed

Omalinze woke up and opened his eyes, he is in a water pond still puzzled, he scrambled out of the pond naked and reached for his clothes. then he wore them.

He began hearing an unknown female voice and three known male voice, he rushed towards the direction the voice came from. he rushed in to the Priestess vast room, he saw the liquid mirror and the opening.

The cave looked like house build beneath the ground, well furnished and decorated. the interiors were flashy with an opening on top which allows the flow of air and the moonlight reflect on the pool of water coming out from the ground floor.

It flows to both side, forming two beautiful river, cush the East and wush the west. inside the rivers are peur White sands and many colourful tresure stones very sacred.

He sat down beside his fellow brothers in arms, the Priestess's then sat on the bare floor with her leg crossed. she wore a white clothe which had white faders all over it and her hair white in colour

She closed her eyes and went in trance. she started elevating and air came about her, moving her hair and the white faders on her clothes, her eye came open and white in colour while her clothes with it's faders became whiter.

Images of things to come were shown to her and she spoke about it. "in war shall you unify this lands and in war shall she divide, Aguda shall be her name and she will rise floorish and will be the envy of others. she will be the greatest empire man have ever known and so shall evil live within and outside her. for such bravery you all have exercise today, great warriors and brave men will rise to defeat this evil. Yes I see him one who will be greater than the king's and stronger like the heavenly beings. yes a soul must pass through the gates of no gates and bath with the dragon fire. oh see a legends riding on a flying horse that spites fire. he will be called the prince of all prince the prince of Aguda."

"He is the Devine prince a once celestial being."

Her eyes cleared and she regaind her concciosness. seven stones came out of the pool flooting in the air. the first stone came to kengani.

The stone of royal spring, he held it and a bright light shone from the stone, a royal staff made with gold. appear on his hand.

"you kengani will be the first Empero of Aguda, you omalinze will be the first prince of Aguda, you must check mate the emperor, protect the people and see that justice privales if the emperor choose the wrong path. that is the duty of the prince of Aguda and the gods will guide and empower you Prince Omalinze."

The six stones remaining went towards omalinze cerculed him before it did apesrd into his goat skin bag.

She stood up and went into the pond, she melted down like water. the cave and the ground shook heavily as the walls collapse and meltdown back to the soil.

The young men stood and whatch how the house melts down. a cloud of smoke came and took them away.
