The sun was already shining brightly when Liam entered the library of the Richardson Mansion.

He breathed in the scent of old books and polished wood as he made his way to a comfortable leather armchair. His platinum blonde hair glimmered in the sunlight as he sat down, flipping open a thick book on Pokemon.

"So it has been 16 years since I reincarnated in this world, huh?" he muttered to himself. He ran his slender fingers over the worn pages of the book, a sense of familiarity washing over him.

It had been 10 years since he recovered his memories of his past life and obtained his "cheat," a gift that allowed him to use his knowledge of the Pokemon world to his advantage. Liam also regained memories of his 6 years in this world. His family loved him very much.

Thankfully, his personality was not much different from his past self, so it fit quite well. His father's name was Ethan Richardson, head of the Richardson family, and his mother's name was Olivia Richardson. Both were stunningly beautiful, so he inherited the best genes from both of them. He had his mother's platinum blonde hair and his father's ocean blue eyes.

Liam's family was wealthy, and he was the heir to the Richardson family. They owned the Celadon Department Store in Kanto, Goldenrod Department Store in Johto, and had 57% shares in Lily Cove Department Store in Hoenn, 53% shares in Veilstone Department Store in Sinnoh, 62% shares in Shopping Mall Nine in Unova, and many more properties and businesses.

"Although they were not 5-star companies like Silph Co. or Devon Corporations, they were still a 4-star company," Liam thought to himself.

"Well, I am satisfied with my family though," he said aloud with a small smile.

As he continued to read, the door of the library suddenly opened, and a beautiful lady with the same platinum blonde hair as Liam entered.

"How is your study going for the test, my baby?" asked the elegant woman.

Liam looked up from his book and replied with a smile, "It is going pretty well, Mom. I think I will get a pretty good rank in the upcoming test."

Hearing Liam's reply, Mama Richardson smiled and said, "I believe in my baby. He is our genius, after all. But you need some rest as well, so let's end your study for now. Breakfast is ready, so go wash your hands and come to the dining room. Your father is waiting for you." After saying that, she turned around and left Liam alone in the library.

Liam sighed, closing the book and standing up from his chair. The grand library of the Richardson Mansion was a sight to behold. Rows upon rows of books filled the shelves, reaching up to the high ceiling. Sunlight streamed through the tall windows, casting a warm glow on everything it touched.

"Only 1 week left for the exam," Liam thought to himself. Although this was still the Pokemon universe, there were vast differences from the original anime. Becoming a Pokemon trainer was a highly sought-after, yet risky profession that required passing an exam set up by the Pokemon Alliance in order to obtain a professional trainer license

Pokemon Exam are important for the following reasons.

1. Ensuring the safety of both trainers and Pokemon: The Pokemon exam ensures that trainers have the knowledge and skills needed to properly care for their Pokemon and keep them healthy and safe. This is important not only for the well-being of the Pokemon, but also for the safety of the trainer and those around them.

2. Establishing standards for the profession: By setting a high bar for entry into the profession of Pokemon training, the exam helps to establish standards for the industry. This can lead to higher quality trainers and better outcomes for both the trainers and the Pokemon they work with.

3. Providing opportunities for advancement: Passing the Pokemon exam opens up opportunities for trainers to advance in their careers, whether that be through sponsorship from a company or by pursuing higher levels of education and training.

Overall, the Pokemon exam plays a crucial role in ensuring the safety and well-being of both trainers and Pokemon, while also establishing standards for the profession and providing opportunities for advancement and research. Or so he has read.

The exam was not just for Pokemon trainers, but also for other occupations such as doctors, nurses, rangers, researchers, police, and the army. The Pokemon exam is divided into four parts, and a person became a Pokemon trainer after passing the third exam and completing one year of education at the Pokemon Trainer Academy.

Similarly, you can apply for other jobs after the joint test and joining their respective academies. But to get to the best academy you have to pass the 4th test.

Passing 4th test has many benefits, such as big companies sponsoring you in your journey as training a Pokemon takes huge amount of money and although academies provide first starter Pokemons but these Pokemon are nowhere near than what a 4 star or a 5 star company can provide. Though you have to go through an interview session held by them. This can be called the 5th test. You can get sponsorship even if you pass the 3rd test by some local forces.

This is same for every occupation as money is needed in every field, especially if you want to be a Pokemon researcher or a Pokemon trainer. They are some of the most money spending jobs. But if you became successful, then you can gain 100 times more than what you spend initial.

Each year these exams are held and anyone between 16-19 can give the test. Age limit 16 because no one in his right mind sends 10-year-old on such a dangerous journey and 19 is because after that your potential is not enough or you do not have enough compatibility for these jobs. As pokemons are pretty dangerous if not handle well.

Liam will turn 16 in last month. So he is also preparing for the exam. Although he doesn't need sponsorship as his own family gave sponsorship to a handful of people every year but he needs good grade for attending best academy.

Therefore, he was also working hard.

'Although even if I didn't get good grades which is almost impossible, even then I can go to the best academy with the help of some Bri$e HuHUMMM some donation but still there no fun in that after all I have to keep my image of genius.' thought Liam.

After getting up from his seat, he started heading towards the dining room for his breakfast, but not before washing his hand. As Mama Richardson is pretty strict in these things.

"I can't wait to get my first Pokemon, " muttered Liam in a longing tone.

Liam's heart was filled with excitement as he imagined the thrill of finally getting his first Pokemon. The thought of holding one of those magnificent creatures in his arms was enough to make his pulse race.

His mind wandered off to the endless possibilities that lay ahead of him as a Pokemon trainer. He could explore new lands, battle with other trainers, and catch Pokemon, he had never seen before.
