In an eerie dark atmosphere where no light could escape from , a purple like hue shaped like a ghostly ball floater about in the area aimlessly.

"Hmm? Who are you?" Zero , who was taken aback by the voice of another person asked the mysterious being what he was but then figured out something.

"Are you God?"

"No , I'm just a part of existence." The being answered while shifting it's view towards Zero.

"Part of existence?" Zero was confused.

"Yes , small one. My existence isn't something big or anything like that. I'm just something that's not human , that's all you need to know." The being voiced out it's declaration.

"Oh , I see. So what now? Will I be going to hell or heaven?" Zero was wondering about this for a while because he knows that he didn't do anything wrong in life except avoid everyone because of how burdensome people are.

"No , you will be going to neither. I'll be sending you to a world that is of your choosing with 3 wishes. Your wishes may not contain the power to rule over the world or destroy it. It can only be used for your survival."

"So no introduction about why I'm here or what purpose I have?" Zero asked , expecting something.

"No. There's no such thing." The being blatantly said.

"Sigh , maybe I was expecting to much." Zero considered that since there was nothing to be asked about , he would get to thinking about his wishes.

-20 Hours Later-

"Alright , for my first wish , I would like the ability to analyze objects but with simpler statistics." Zero exclaimed since having an ability like this was crucial in survival.

"Granted."

"Next , I would like the ability 'Shadow Manipulation'. I want the color scheme of the shadow to be black and silver tho." Zero really wanted this since he would use it frequently.

"Granted. What's your final wish?" The being asked with the same monotone voice.

"My last wish is to have a 'helper' that guides me. Not like a system with functions , just something that can tell me when my actions are worth something or not."

"Granted. Now for your world of choice?"

Zero thought about it for a moment until a world popped up in his mind. "I would like to go to the timeline of 'Highschool Of The Dead' is , before the outbreak."

"Accepted but the zombies and humans will have higher power since the world your going to is a different timeline." The being explained.

"Okay , I'm ready then." Zero confirmed his decision.

"Fair well , Zero." The being said those words and the area around them shattered.

"Huh? What-" Zero didn't have anytime to speak and was whisked away into a the planet.

Zero's soul entered the atmosphere and instantly entered a body of a young 17 years old male.

"Damn , I feel dizzy." Zero , who was now in a body , felt dizzy due to the speed he entered.

Zero , who saw a black screen appear before him guessed that it was his helper that the being sent to him.

"Name? My name is Zero tho." After saying those words , the name column on the screen changed.

"Seems like the stats screen is simple with no other stats incorporated in it. Not even health points is listed." Zero was satisfied with his status screen because if he really had health points , he would be worrying about how to keep it at moderate level all day.

"Now , where am I?" Zero looked around and found that he was in a gym locker that seemed to be locked from the inside. He got up and felt a chill running through his body and bent down , what he saw was that he had no clothing on.

"The hell? Where are my clothes?" Zero questioned which he didn't receive an answer from while looking around to see if there were anything he could wear. He spotted a bag near a locker and took a look inside and found some clothes that fitted him perfectly. A black shirt with a grey jacket that has 4 pockets on each side and black pants with grey sneakers. Unexpectedly , there was a white mask inside to." Did the being arranged it for me?"

He threw that thought out and immediately wore the clothes while putting on the mask. After the mask was worn , he felt much more comfortable and conserved.

"Shall I get out now?" Zero who said those words tried to open the door but failed. "What?" He tried again but to no avail.

"Why won't the door open.?" When Zero uttered the word 'Open' , the door opened and Zero walked out of the gym locker but when he turned backwards to look at the door , all he could see was a wall. "What the?" The door led Zero to a hallway which looked like a passage way inside of a school. Zero came up to the conclusion that he must be Fujimi Academy.

"I've watched the anime but haven't read the manga yet. The anime doesn't really do it justice it seems." What Zero saw was a elegant environment around the Academy , he walked forward towards the stairs and spotted someone approaching. He didn't even have any second thoughts and decided to hide behind the wall beside the staircase leading downwards.

"Did you hear? They said they spotted zombies approaching." A random student questioned.

"Zombies? Must be fake." The other random student answered.

"Hmm , true." After that , the two of them went towards the class.

Zero , who was hiding behind the wall decided that it was best to go to the roof since no one should currently be there. "So the outbreak has already begun?"
