“Coffee, Cookie, or a Cake?” Amelia smiled ready to take his order.
“Your Cafe” his answer made Amelia drop the book.
“Miss Amelia Di’ Ricci, I am here to buy your café”
“You got to be kidding me” Amelia chuckled.
“Absolutely not,” he shook his head negative. Pulling out his checkbook he signed a cheque.
“A blank cheque, quote as much as you want” he fisted the cheque in her palm with a smile.
“Excuse me Mister” with a snap, she stopped him from moving further.
“Do you want something else, Miss?”
“Ohh yes, why don’t you help me a little and shove this back in your ass along with your ego?” Amelia crumbled the check and threw it on his face.
“Do you even know who the hell I am?” he roared.
“Why?? Don’t you know that yourself?” she retorted.
He slammed his fist against the wall, as his jaw clenched. “Don’t you dare play games with me,” he warned.
“Well I didn’t intend to, you have started it Mister and if you are foolish enough to think I am going to give up on my café just by hearing your threats… the joke is on you” Amelia shrugged.
“Looks like you love playing with the fire, sell me the café or get ready to face Archer Arlington,” his voice low yet demanding.
Archer’s smirk grew witnessing how Amelia started sweating with a mere mention of his name.
“I am not giving up my café for any, even for the most influential Centibillionaire” she made it clear to the thick headed man.
