A Rich Man's Lover

This is a story about an open-relationship between an unwilling prostitute and a married man. He was in an open marriage, but she's not the wife. To be one of the many partners of a man committed to another woman was her role. She wanted to hide her feelings that were starting to grow, her longing to be by his side, and lastly herself, by virtue of an open relationship. However, it was all for naught. When everything came to light, she desired to end the relationship they had. Her last words echoed through his mind as she bid him farewell through her mournful eyes. "If only I hadn't met you, I wouldn't be hurting this badly."

February 21, 2021: Faith

The likelihood that Syn was aware of her role was high, and Konrad recognized that. He had faith that the lady would be understanding enough to be distressed about it.

Thankfully, he was not mistaken.

Syn had already formed a conclusion all by herself. At this point, it was more like a hobby for the lady to overthink her situation. It stemmed from the fact that her life had been put in danger several times in the past. She needed to contemplate a way to save herself, either through the mercy of death or unscathed. There was no in-between.

Be that as it may, her present dictated that she wasn't alone. More than her own safety, she was thinking about Konrad's, considering that he was the main target. She just refrained from raising her concerns in fear of serving as a bother.
