Making A Move

The same day, after her new teacher left, Susan called Sam over the phone and asked him to meet her at one of their secret meeting location which had been busted by her mother.

Susan arrived at the location ten minutes before Sam. That was how desperate she was.

"I was going to call you to hang out but then you beat me to it." Sam pulled out a chair for himself with a smile that reached his eyes.

Susan's gaze followed him until he sat down across from her before she retracted it. She checked the time on her phone and discovered that she didn't have enough time to have a meal with him.

After meeting with him, she had to go to her mother's office to meet her because suddenly, her mother had this grand idea to fix an office for her at her company just to boost her profile.

According to her, it was another strategic arrangement that would attract reasonable suitors to her.
