SPILT COFFEE
Adrian’s POV
I parked the car in the basement to prevent seeing the scene again like yesterday morning. I don’t want to see Lily being sweet with her husband.
When I got out of the elevator, I saw a petite woman walking towards the desk near my office. The woman was sexy in a tight dress and high ponytail.
Lily was just about to sit when she noticed me approaching. “Good morning, sir.”
“Good morning,” I said without looking at her and stepped into my office.
After just a moment, I heard knocks on the door, probably her. “Come in.”
She pushed open the door and looked at me. When our eyes met, she looked away. “Here’s your coffee, sir.”
I could see that she was confused and trembling as she lowered the cup of coffee on the table. She almost spilt the coffee.
“How are you feeling now?” I asked in a low voice.
Lily got startled and spilt the hot coffee in her hand. “I’m sorry, sir.”
I took her hand and brought her to the washroom. “Be careful next time.”
