Lily’s POV
“What do you think, bestie?” I gazed at Vincent.
“Honey, what I understand is that he likes you! But the only problem and question is who is that woman he will marry? Maybe it is you?”
“Are you crazy? How would it be me? We just met, and I’m a newly hired assistant. It’s just been two weeks.”
“But why did he introduce you to his father? Why did he hold your hand in front of his father?”
“Maybe because he introduced me as his new personal assistant?”
“But why did he need to show it to his father like that? Did you meet his mother?” Vincent asked.
“No, I didn’t, and I forgot to ask about his mother,” I said.
“It’s a little bit confusing, honey,” he said.
“Yes, you are right,” I said, sighing. “Even I was confused.”
“My suggestion is you better enjoy the moment of dreaming to beautify his fiancée’s villa,” he suggested. “While you are assigned to do it, think that it’s all for you. Pretend that you are the woman he’s going to marry, okay?”
