Chapter 72

Before heading home there is one more place I need to go and it was to meet with Ai-chan. In the somewhat dim sky, as the sunset was about to happen, I walk through the streets going to the place of my objective.

The joyful voices of a group of kids who passed by indicating me the park most likely empty right now. It is indeed true for only one presence can be sensed and it was most likely Ai-chan.

As I arrived at the park, she was there sitting on the swing while looking at the sunset with her back facing me. The place she sits was different, but the way she looks at the sky was just like the first time we met.

Besides the place she sits, there is one more difference with the way we meet for the first time. It was her expression. She didn't make a sad and lonely expression anymore since we meet. It made me happy knowing she never makes that lonely expression anymore.

It is indeed true she still used a facade when she talks with her friend in the school. But when she was with Kaguya or me, her expression became mild. Especially in front of me where she can freely display her emotions and do anything she wants with me as her ally forever.

I slowly walk to her side and gently covered her eyes when I arrived.

"Alone in a place like this is dangerous, you know?" I whispered sweetly to her ear.

"It is fine, I have someone I can depend on after all." Ai-chan gently caressed my hands and said.

"But he is not here, though." I jokingly said.

"I believe he will come right away if I call him," Ai-chan answered. Even without seeing her face, I know she was smiling.

"How about try calling him now?" I said with a gentle smile.

"Sure thing. Izumi, can you come now? There is a bad person behind me." I can feel Ai closed her eyes and said with an affectionate tone. Then I gently uncovered her eyes and went in front of her. Ai slowly unclosed her eyes and smiled.

"See? He would come right away if I asked." Ai said with an affectionate smile.

"Of course, I promised right? I will be there for you." I gently said. We looked at each other affectionately for some time.

"Hahahaha" Then we laughed simultaneously.

"There is no way a bad person has the same warm as the person I can depend on, you know?" Ai said with a smile.

"Hoho, now you can even remember the warmth of my hand," I said.

"It's almost a year since the first time we meet after all," Ai said with a smile while seemingly remembering the year we spent.

"Indeed... Speaking of which, it's not every time, but we frequently meet at this park. I guess this park is one of the memorable places for us. Even the first time we meet was at a park, not this one, though." I smilingly said then went to the swing beside her and sit.

"Nn... It was at this time too, when the sun was about to set." Ai looked at the sky with a smile.

"Good thing your expression was different from that time. I don't want to see that kind of sad and lonely face from you anymore." I thoughtfully said.

"Don't worry. As long as you are here, it won't happen." Ai gently answered while looking at the sunset.

"Hehe, you made me embarrassed. But indeed, I will always be here for you." I said with a meaningful expression.

"I know..." Ai looked at me affectionately and said. I also looked back at her affectionately.

Our face that separated between the small distances of swings became closer until our lips touched each other. We closed our eyes to immerse on the warm sensation of our lips. The kiss lasts a min before we separated our face and looked at each other with a smile.

"Is it-" Before I was able to complete what I want to say, Ai placed her index fingers on my lips.

"Not now, Izumi... If you say it now, I can't focus on everything except you. For a little while, I still need to do my job for Kaguya-sama." Ai said with a smile that looked a bit sad.

"Okay then... But can you stand up and come here?" I said.

"Sure..." Ai looked at me wonderingly but still standing up and went in front of me.

"Wa-!" I pulled her and made her sit on my laps with her face facing mine.

"Still, kissing is fine, right?" I grinned and said.

"....Nn..." Ai nodded with her cheek reddened. Then I gently embraced her body and kissed her lips. The kiss gradually became passionate, and I insert my tongue into her mouth. Ai, who never kissed before replied it by clumsily moving her tongue.

"Izumi...can you take my bag?" As the kiss ends, Ai leaned her head on my shoulders and asked.

"Here you go." I take the bag that placed between our swing and gives it to her. Ai elevated her head and take something from the bag.

"For you..." Ai affectionately looked at me and gave me a box of chocolate.

"Thank you, I will eat it heartily." I smilingly said.

"Nn. And...can we stay like this for a while?" Ai asked with an expectant expression.

"Are you fine if someone comes and saw us?" I said with a teasing smile.

"Honestly I don't want anyone other than you looking at me like this. But it's fine since there won't be any people passed here at this time. So, until someone came? You could tell me at that time..." Ai explained with a reddened cheek.

I didn't say anything and gently placed her head on my neck and embrace her warm body. Ai closed her eyes with a blissful smile on her face while enjoying the tender embrace.

When I arrived at my apartment, Nanaka, Chisa, Kaori, and Shiori were there waiting for me to dinner with them. It seems Chisa only here to have dinner and giving me chocolate since she has to attend the cram school tomorrow.

She diligently studies for the sake of entering the same high school as us and living here. The standard for entering the school was high so Chisa needs to study diligently because she was the most normal out of us in studying.

Naturally, I offered her to enter with a backhanded way of cheating, but she rejected it immediately. She said she wanted to enter with her own power. So, at most what we can do is help her to study. But at this pace, I believe she will be able to enter our school smoothly.

"Here is chocolate for you, Izu-nii. I wanted to spend time with you, but I have a cram school tomorrow..." Chisa gave me a box of chocolate and poutingly said.

"Isn't it fine to absent just for one day?" I tilted my head and said.

"Uuu...I don't think I can calmly study with my head full of you, Izu-nii.." Chisa said with a reddened cheek.

"Hahaha, even though it's different, you kinda said the same thing with Ai-chan." I laughingly said.

"Hee...I only meet her once, but I think we can be a good friend." Chisa said.

"I think so too," I said with a smile.

"Anyway, I'm heading home now. See you, Izu-nii!" Chisa said and was about to walk away, but I pulled her and give her a kiss in the lips.

"You forgot your kiss. This amount of affection won't disturb you, right?" I said with a teasing smile.

"I-I guess it's fine," Chisa said with a reddened cheek then kissed me once again and promptly heading back home.

"Fufufu, I guess our Chisa was quite brave even with that shyness." Nanaka smilingly said.

"I actually expect she will do it." Kaori nodded and said wisely.

"These are from Ayase-chan and me, Onii-sama." Shiori said and gave me two boxes of chocolates.

"Thank you, Shiori. I will text Ayase-chan later to say my thanks." I caressed Shiori's head and smilingly said.

"Jii..." Shiori intently looked at me.

"What is it Shiori?" I asked.

"Where is my kiss?" Shiori looked at me with a hopeful eye. Looking at the adorable face of her it made me wanted to kiss those small and cute lips. In that instant, an illusion of the FBI coming through the door showed on my mind.

"Haha... please bear with this for now..." I kissed her forehead and wryly smiled.

"Gununu... Fine... But please at least when I'm on my third year." Shiori said with a pout.

"Of course..." I patted her head and smilingly said.

That night, two people knocked on the door of my room. I stood up from my bed and opened the door. It was Kaori and Nanaka. Both of them only wearing a nightgown that looked very sexy while holding a box of chocolate on their hand.

"Hehehe, you like what you see?" Kaori smirked and said.

"What can I say, you two looks sexy..." I caressed the back of my head and said.

"Fufufu, for now, let's come in," Nanaka said then locked the door. They sit on my bed with Nanaka on my right and Kaori on my left.

"Please let me say it first. Izu-kun, as I said previously, I like you even when we're a child. Of course a child I don't know what is love. One day, mom told me that love is when you liking someone and wanted to be together with that person forever. At that time I realized, what feeling I have to you.

You know, recently I saw a dream. The dream was blurred, and I can't remember many things when I wake up. I only know it was a memory of a girl I don't know of. I also feel it was a memory about love, or should I say, eternal love. And I feel like the man she loves was you, Izu-kun.

Yes, I don't remember what kind of dream is that. But the feeling remained on my heart. It was like the feeling when I was with you, Izu-kun. I don't care who was the girl in my dream but one thing I knew is our feeling toward you are the same.

So, please let me say this, Izu-kun. I love you. Please be with me forever." Nanaka explained with a smile while affectionately looking at me.

"....I love you too, Nanaka. Please be with me forever too..." I gently caressed her cheek and affectionately said with a warm feeling on my chest.

"Then I'm next! In our date in the amusement park, I said I didn't believe in fate because it was cruel to me. I used to hate my life. Because even though I finally became a friend with someone I idolize, my sickness caused me to not be able with him for a long time.

One day, I overheard my parents talking with the doctor. The doctor said I might not live for two years. Hearing that my heart crushed to piece. I stealthily cry to not make my parents sadder than that time. I cursed the word 'fate' who made me suffering from that disease.

"Nn! In exchange, we will make you happy too." Nanaka and Kaori simultaneously said. Without saying anything I hugged both of them while caressed their head.

"Now, let's go to the main event," Kaori said with a reddened cheek.

"Please love us until morning, Izu-kun." Nanaka flirtily said.

I activated the sounds barrier and went to the battle.
