A look of Harry Potter

9th of Heartfire, 4E 207.

Harry opened the door to Lakeview Manor. His family sat by the table inside. They all turned to him and Rhavaniel as they entered. He walked forward slowly and sat down with them.

"So," Rashall said. "Yar leavin'."

Harry nodded. "I am," he said. "Kyne is giving me a chance to say goodbye, but it is time to leave now."

"You have time for one last meal I hope," Katla said.

"Oh, certainly," Harry said. "She isn't that stingy, but I should probably leave today."

Katla smiled. "Let's all cook together," she said.

Harry and Rhavaniel cleaned off quickly and changed out of their armours before they joined everyone else in the dining room where vegetables and meat were laying in clusters. Harry grabbed a knife and started working on some potatoes. Rhavaniel grabbed another knife from across the table and grabbed a salmon.

"Ya better keep cookin," Rashall said. "We know that woman was ruinin' yar love for the culinary arts, but ya deserve better."

"This one thinks Harry-ma better not go back to her house. She sounds like a hagraven," Naya said.

Harry started laughing. He was fairly certain that Petunia would take offence to that.

It was almost so good that he wanted to tell her, but she wouldn't understand and that would destroy the fun. "I promise I will not live with them," he said. "I'll find some other place to stay somehow."

"Just give 'em hell from us," Rashall said.

"I'd rather not," Harry said. "They were forced to take me in, and they will slowly destroy themselves. They don't need my help."

"Huh, I guess that might be good enough," Rashall said. He grabbed the potatoes that Harry had cut and walked into the kitchen with them.

Harry grabbed lettuce and started chopping that for salad.

"How does Rhavaniel-dra feel?" Naya asked.

"I'll miss him," Rhavaniel said. "But we both have things we need to do." She shrugged. "As much as I love him I know I will be fine because I always have been."

Naya nodded slowly. She wasn't sure she understood. She wouldn't want to separate from Rashall.

Katla came and took the lettuce and placed a bowl of dough in front of Harry while Rashall fetched the salmon from Rhavaniel.

One dish after another was prepared slowly. Everyone was trying to laugh and have fun. No one wanted to think too much about the fact that Harry would be leaving.

Naya cleaned the table off as Harry and Rhavaniel brought their things with them to clean everything up.

As the food finished cooking, they settled down by the table. They ate and messed around and laughed.

Then the time came to clean up. It turned into a water fight and everyone had to go get changed.

Harry was the first one back downstairs. He looked at the kitchen and the greenhouse and the dining room. He would miss all of this, but more than that he would miss the people that lived here.

He smiled as one by one everyone else made their way down to the dining room. "I'll miss you guys," he said. "I love all of you in different ways."

Naya walked up to him. "This one copied the Lexicon in Avanchnzel for Harry-do," she said. She handed him a big book."

"This has the entire lexicon in it?" Harry asked.

Naya nodded. "It does, yes," she said. "There is note on how to use it on first page."

"Thank you, Naya-ko," Harry said.

Rhavaniel held out a white phial. "It has the Cure in it," she said. "I made several."

"You have no idea what this will mean for all the Werewolves on Earth," Harry said.

"I think I might," Rhavaniel said. Ria had been quite happy after all.

Katla walked up to him and she and Rashall filled his bag with money pouches.

Harry smiled. He packed the other gifts away in his backpack as well and swung it back on his shoulder. He grabbed the Elder Scroll.

Naya rushed forward and hugged him. "Naya will miss you," she said.

Harry smiled. He handed Naya over to Rashall.

"Goodbye," he said.

Harry threw the scroll open and light filled the room. He blinked a few times. The light faded and he stood in a strange in-between. He wasn't sure how else to describe it.

"So you are going back now."

"It would seem that way," Harry said.

"Are you ready?"

"I better be," Harry said. "When will I arrive?"

"You will see."

"Why did you give me an egg?" Harry asked. "We have taken a dragon from their mother."

"The little one will help you. You will need their help. You know how to care for them. Do not worry. All will be well."

Harry sighed. He guessed there was no point in arguing. She was divine after all.

He walked forward. He knew that there was a spot up ahead that would take him back. He turned around right before he left. "Thank you for everything," he said.

Kyne smiled. "You are welcome, my dear," she said.

Harry nodded. He turned around. He took his last step forward.

Light surrounded him again.

Albus looked down at his desk. One of his little golden devices had just shut down. He had many of these little machines.

This particular one monitored the wards around Number Four Privet Drive where Harry Potter lived during the summer.

Worry moved through him. Had something happened to young Mr Potter? He looked out towards the grounds.

He would have to wait and see if the young teen was alright the next day. In the meantime, a trip to Privet Drive might not be out of order.

He walked up to his fireplace and threw in some powder that turned the flames green. He asked Severus Snape, his resident Potion Master, to join him.

It didn't take long for Severus to walk in the door to the office. "You wanted to speak to me, Albus," he said coldly.
