Thousand years has past and the humans has seen no sign of it, the beasts has gone into extinction. so many believed but elder once amongst the humans believe the beast are still very much around.
"Fated to marry a human? How possible is that? I'll tear her apart before anything could even happen"
"young master, that's what the seers has said, the moon goddess has indeed cursed you like your father said before he died"
The beast stayed away from humans because of the deal made by king George Kim and the moon goddess, who ever is found taking human blood will die immediately by the melting light of the moon. No one understood why he made such decision but only his run away mother knew.
"your eyes looks exactly as that of my mother"
"Don't hurt me please, come into the light, I can't see you in the dark"
"but that's were I've always belong, I would never hurt you, even if I could my cruel heart wouldn't agree"
"why the sudden attraction, what is this I feel for it" she asked rhetorically
"I feel the same human, but seems like fate is playing games on us and I've loved you too much to let go".
Kai was to be king but his most important requirement was a queen but unfortunately for him he was cursed to marry a human, every closeness to her keeps him in constant battle with his taste for human blood, every eye contact they made, makes her fall ill. there was always circumstances stopping their love.
