Welcome To The Dark Art Sanctum!

Megan ignored Brian, she knew he was trying to make an impression but unlike Michael, she didn't sense the malicious intent oozing from Tee.

"Take your hand off me…" Tee said; this was not a warning or request but Brian thought it was.

He was trying his best to impress Megan and if he backed down now, he knew it would leave a bad impression on the lady he was trying his best to make sure that doesn't happen.

"What did you say, buddy?" Brian teased, the others didn't think anything of this because authoritative figures were present in the room to keep them in check so there was a limit to what they could do in terms of damage, or at least, that was the normal protocol.

Tee didn't repeat himself, and Brian found himself removing his arm from Tee.

"W-What is going on?" Brian questioned, he was frightened because this was not of his own doing.

He looked Tee in the eyes but what he saw behind Tee was a demonic oni-like face that looked crazed.

"What is that!?" Brian said, backing away from Tee in fear but he was the only one that was seeing this.

No one saw this making Brian seem like he was being dramatic but this wasn't the only thing that Tee wanted to do to him, there was a reason James was cautious of him.

"Kneel…" Brian heard Tee's voice in his mind and he immediately dropped to his knees, it felt like Tee had taken control of his brain.

"What the fuck is wrong with you?" Megan asked him, she was confused as to what was happening but Michael knew who was responsible for this.

"This power…!" Michael thought and then it happened, the hunger returned in a way that Michael had never experienced before. Michael had that moment and could not think straight, all he wanted to do at this moment was cut open his head and study his brain for this delicious power.

Blood began seeping through Brian's tear gland, and this was when everyone's attention shifted to what was happening. Megan was freaked out, she took a few steps back but the authorities weren't doing anything.

They were three in number and they just stared at them without any intent.

Brian's eyes soon popped, like a balloon before he dropped face-first, crashing into the floor, dead.

Everyone was terrified, they were shocked that no one stepped in to stop Tee from killing Brian.

"H-Hey! You, people, should do something!" A man called out but his pleas fell on deaf ears as they were indifferent.

Elizabeth was frightened, she couldn't believe what she was seeing.

"M-Michael!" She called out and the moment her eyes settled on Michael, she was horrified by the look on his face. He looked like a rabid dog that was about to devour his prey and his eyes were fixed on Tee.

"That's enough…" James Moore had finally appeared and he didn't look bothered by the corpse.

He snapped his fingers and the authorities hurried to grab the corpse that lay on the ground.

The people there understood one thing at that moment and that was there were no rules, nothing was stopping them from killing each other.

They could do anything but this made this academia even more dangerous because if they could kill each other, what stops other crimes from happening within this school?

Megan knew that Tee was responsible for this man's death and all he did was touch him, that was a crime.

It made her both cautious and frightened of Tee but she also saw Tee as a potential individual that could protect her from the others.

She knew her safest chance of survival was to stick with Tee because Megan, despite her looks, was quite analytic.

"Welcome to the Dark Arts Sanctum." James Moore said with a broad smile. James Moore was a man that believed in anarchy and what better way to put it into place than here?

This wasn't academia aimed at pampering them but rather one of survival. There was a reason they were being paid that high, it was because they were literally selling their souls to James.

"S-Sir! Someone just fucking died!" A student shouted but James didn't look bothered by his protest.

"That is correct, there are no rules here. I believe you all know this by now but this is an agency that aims into making you proper villains…" James said; he answered the boy's question but this was an opportunity to go into further details.

"Humanity has always been pushed to evolve when met with danger, from the cavemen to the savages. Each pushed past its limits when threatened with extinction. I have granted you that danger. You're all the danger…" James said; he wasn't done explaining, only taking a brief moment to catch his breath.

Everyone was just realizing the gravity of the contract they had all signed.

"... This isn't your normal school, but you will have classes that will teach you about ideologies and how the superhuman world works. Everything is allowed here, the only limit is what you deem morally right but as you just saw, just because you feel murder is bad doesn't mean the person next to you has any problem taking a life…" James said, and everyone began looking at their neighbor with suspicion but this couldn't be helped because it felt like they just had the rug pulled from beneath them.

"I understand the need to survive overrides every other sense in an individual body, and you have a better chance at coming out alive if you team up with one another but here's my only rule. A team can have a max number of four individuals at all times, members CANNOT be expelled once chosen so you better choose carefully because the person you choose might very well be the one that kills…" James said; he sounded excited about his little project.

Michael noticed the majority of the people here were panicking, including Elizabeth but Tee was as calm as a cucumber. This wasn't surprising considering the kind of fun he had in his spare time, taking a human life was nothing to him but he noticed they weren't the only ones unbothered by this revelation.

"Things are about to get real fucking interesting," Michael thought to himself as he bit his lower lips in anticipation.
