Felix - Jackpot

I DRIVE TO Gramma's house to check up on her. I turn to Busk and his little brother."Stay here."

They nod.

As I walk in to hug her, she greets me with tea.

"Hey, sweetheart, here so early?" Gramma says sitting down in front of her laptop in the kitchen.

"Hey, whare's Gramps?" I ask grabbing the tea off the table.

"Over in the living room."

"Okay thanks," I say rushing over to him sitting perfectly fine on the couch watching tv.

"Uh, Gramps, you okay."

"Sure, son."

"How was it over at Maria's, dear?" Gramma asks.

"Busy," I say sitting right next to Gramps with his feet crossed on the coffee table reading a book. "Well," I grunt. "Gotta go to her house again before they try killing each other." I walk out the door and tinto my car. "Sorry, it took so long."

"It's fine. So you Alaska, are you two a thing?" Busk comments.

"I don't care about that stuff right now I'll get one when I want one. And besides Alaska and I are on the verge of a breakup."

"Why?"

"I dunno." I drive into an empty vacant lot with a few pieces of trash scattered all over the place.

"Look! an RV! That's rare!" Tyreece points at it. The RV looks old the hinges of the doors are wearing out, the green-now-brown color's all over it, the bathroom completely trashed and garnish like a rampage of hungry wolves go to it first. Eledidly, Busk breaks the door off. One of the windows is cracked and glass's all over the floor and on the built-in couch underneath it. Usually get food, blankets, and as many things as we can out of there whenever we find one; and that's if, we bring bags and other supplies to bring home with us but this is the jackpot. There are cans of unopened food lying about, blankets, clothes, shoes, and money, too!

"Jackpot," We all simultaneously say as we take a look inside in awe.
