Chapter Six Hundred and Sixty-Nine: Different Styles

Mercenaries and assassins share some commonalities in the nature of their work, as both are killers, but they differ in how they approach their tasks.

There are jobs that mercenaries do which assassins can't, and vice versa, but such limitations are relative. In general, each specializes in their own skills.

After a brief exchange of pleasantries, Ivan turned to Ryan and said, "You can introduce yourself and tell us what you're good at. That way, everyone will know how you can contribute."

Ryan nodded solemnly, "My wife and I were once part of an assassin organization, a small one that you wouldn't have heard of. We left it a few years ago and are now freelancers, so that's not important. What's important is what we can do."

Pointing to Medusa, Ryan continued with a smile, "My wife, Medusa, is an expert in thievery, swindling, intelligence, languages, and cryptography. She's good at hand-to-hand combat, quite decent with a handgun, and she's also a makeup artist."
