Examining the information on the divine realm panel, Zeng Shen was able to clearly see the changes within his realm.
Firstly, the land area of his divine realm had expanded fivefold, and a new oceanic region had appeared. Although it only accounted for 2% of the divine realm, about 100 square kilometers—a size comparable to a large town—it added a significant layer of diversity to the realm's environment.
However, the most intriguing change for Zeng Shen was the appearance of the new wonder—the Heroic Tavern. With this tavern, he would be able to store the corpses of enemy followers with king-grade qualifications or higher, or even his own deceased followers, and recruit them as loyal spirit servants.
In essence, the strongest followers of others, once dead, would belong to him, and his own fallen followers could never escape servitude.
"Yeah, definitely has that undead vibe. I like it," Zeng Shen commented, searching for the Heroic Tavern within his divine realm.
With the expansion, the previous 1000 square kilometers of the deity palace area remained central in the realm, with new land extending in all directions.
Thus, while searching for the Heroic Tavern, Zeng Shen designated the original deity palace area as the center of the divine realm, with the new extensions labeled as the East, West, North, and South regions.
Soon, he found the Heroic Tavern perched atop a cliff near the newly formed beach in the eastern part of the realm. The tavern was large, reminiscent of ancient sacrificial temples. Two tall flags flapped in the sea breeze at its entrance—one black with the word "酒" (wine) and the other white with the same inscription.
The tavern's massive, three-zhang-high doors were covered in black iron, depicting scenes of heroic spirits falling in battle and being venerated. The door handles were carved into menacing black ram heads, adding an eerie atmosphere.
Zeng Shen's consciousness penetrated through the tavern's ominous roof to view its interior. What he saw made him exclaim, "Whoa."
Inside, the tavern was brightly lit, exuding modern luxury. The marble floors shone with warm yellow lights, reflecting bright lines like a starry sky. Crystal chandeliers on the ceiling sparkled with green, yellow, blue, and red hues, resembling shooting stars.
The bar occupied the center, supported by seven ivory pillars, with a massive ebony countertop. White jade bottles lined the bar, adding a touch of elegance.
On the bar's left, ivory-carved weapons adorned the wall, forming an unbreachable holy barrier. To the right were rooms illuminated by flashing red, yellow, and green lights, equipped with sofas and tables.
If not for the coffins behind the room sofas, Zeng Shen might have mistaken it for a nightclub or KTV.
"This tavern is really something," Zeng Shen chuckled, planning to bring a sound system with Xiao Ti and Xiao Ai for a future visit.
After locating the Heroic Tavern, Zeng Shen's consciousness returned to his body. He checked the Replica Card in his hand.
[Host, replica completed. Summon now?]
Zeng Shen moved to the lounge, tapping "yes" on the Replica Card. It emitted a light, and a replica of himself materialized.
The replica wore identical casual clothes and stood motionless, expressionless, with vacant eyes.
After a brief inspection, Zeng Shen instructed, "Sit in the driver's seat and pretend to drive."
"Yes, Master," the replica replied woodenly, its voice mirroring Zeng Shen's.
"Aside from the dull personality, it's just like the real me," Zeng Shen remarked, returning to the back to practice Flight.
Around 6:30 PM, Zeng Shen received a message from Kekelin, asking if he was home and offering to pick him up.
"I'm home, taking a shower. Wait downstairs," he replied, then retracted the replica and instructed Number One to find a secluded spot in Jiaowei District to set a sub-track point, before returning to his bedroom closet.
Back home, Zeng Shen showered, changed into clean clothes, and grabbed his ID before heading to the entrance of the community. Just then, a warning rang in his ear.
[Danger! Danger! A tier-4 angelic deity is approaching rapidly.]
Before the warning ended, a military-green SUV stopped, revealing Kekelin in a backless dress. She turned her striking gaze to him, asking, "Mr. Zeng, you haven't had dinner, right? I heard there's a new Chaoshan hotpot that's very authentic. Care to join me?"
Hearing about his hometown's specialty hotpot, Zeng Shen's intended refusal transformed into acceptance.
"Alright then."
Kekelin's lips curled into a confident smile, her blue eyes deep and mysterious. "Get in."
"Okay."
Once Zeng Shen was seated, she floored the accelerator, racing to the hotpot restaurant.
They arrived quickly. The restaurant wasn't crowded. Kekelin booked a private room, ordering fresh beef, offal, and a bottle of red wine.
As the hotpot and wine arrived, Zeng Shen commented with a smile, "Red wine with hotpot, quite the pairing."
He filled Kekelin's glass before pouring half for himself.
Kekelin downed her glass in one go, setting it down with a seductive gaze. "Mr. Zeng, you seem wary of me."
"Isn't it obvious? Why else would you approach me? Can I not be cautious?" Zeng Shen replied, eating a meatball.
"That's fair," Kekelin conceded, finishing another glass.
Zeng Shen refilled her glass, which she promptly emptied again.
After three glasses, Kekelin laughed, "If I promise not to ask about the Green Dew Imperial Jade cave, will you lower your guard?"
"Sure," Zeng Shen shrugged, pouring her another drink.
Kekelin downed it, asking, "But Jack will call before you board for our country. What should I tell him?"
"Tell him you seduced me, we slept together, and I mentioned a hill in the north," Zeng Shen suggested, eyeing her cleavage.
Kekelin giggled, straddling Zeng Shen's lap, her long legs poised elegantly.
"I thought my charms didn't appeal to
Daxia men, not in Mr. Zeng's tastes. Apparently, I was wrong," she teased, leaning closer.
