Masa felt that everything was hard to believe since the change in him was so much in just a single day. 

After he gained his Devil Fruit, Jake Jake no Mi, he thought that he would have a training arc where he would try his best to train himself to become stronger before he went to the East Blue and made money along the way, so when he arrived, he wouldn't be stumped with the problem of money. 

But then again, money was the last thing to worry about in this world, especially when one could rob others with ease. Even if he didn't rob good people, he could rob pirates, which were practically everywhere due to the "Great Pirate Era" opened by Gol D. Roger. 

Fortunately, he didn't lack money, especially when he had taken all the wealth that he could collect within this place. 

Still, he couldn't help but frown when he thought about Gol D. Roger. 

"What a bothersome guy..." 

Shaking his head, he decided to ignore this figure that was the center of everything. "It's better to think to become stronger." 

With the ability he gained, along with the two Devil Fruits on his body, he knew that his survivability had risen dramatically. The Jake Jake no Mi was obvious since it gave him a lot of convenience. The Ton Ton no Mi also increased his attack power to a large extent. 

If there was something that he needed more of, it would be either an improvement of physical ability or something that could help him with energy, whether it was improvement, saving, or anything else.

This might probably be one of the most important aspects of the world of "One Piece." 

Yes, Luffy might be powerful, especially when he had eaten the "Nika Nika no Mi," probably making him the strongest, but to support the consumption of this power, a great amount of energy was needed. 

Or rather, all the powerful individuals in this world could eat a lot!

The advantage of joining the pirate group was that it was free. 

Yeah, this was the advantage of joining a pirate since there were no rules, no expectations, and no other work, and he could give his everything to train to the fullest. Naturally, the disadvantage was also huge as he would become a criminal and he wouldn't have proper food or salary, considering he chose a pirate as a career. 

If there was something fortunate, it was his Jake Jake no Mi allowed him to hide his identity, so when he finished with the pirate group, he could leave without worry. 

Still, compared to being a pirate, being a marine was much better in terms of training as he could receive systematic training that had been used by the members of marines for generations, along with free food and accommodation. 

Frankly, whether it was being a pirate or a marine, all of them were the same for him since as long as he joined either of them, he would be protected by a giant organization that he had joined, but naturally, as he had become a member, he had to pay a certain cost such as fighting for the organization. 

If he joined the Marines, he would fight pirates, which was something that he didn't mind.

Losing freedom meant a lot to him, and time wouldn't wait for anyone. 

If possible, he had to become stronger faster, and frankly, the idea that came from his previous discussion to become a World Noble by turning one into his jacket wasn't a bad idea at all. 

As for being noticed by the strong in the Holy Land Mary Geoise, the capital of the World Government, Masa didn't have such a fear, especially when the identity he stole would definitely be in the trash, and no one would pay attention to the trash, right?

However, when he thought about the potential of the Jake Jake no Mi, which allowed him to devour someone and gain their abilities, like what he did with the lion Mink Tribe previously, he knew that joining a faction, whether it was a big pirate group or a marine would be more a liability to him. 

Instead, he should just focus on devouring famous characters in the world of One Piece, such as Rayleigh and Shakuyaki. 

Yes, he knew that those two characters might be likable and loved by many, especially when Rayleigh taught Luffy, but don't forget that this guy was the Vice Captain of a Gol D. Roger. 

In other words, this guy was a pirate who had caused the "Great Age of Pirates," so there was no need for him to feel guilty for devouring Rayleigh. 

Yet, while the idea was good, the reality wasn't as good as it appeared to be since Rayleigh wasn't weak! 

Could Masa even defeat Rayleigh? 

The answer is hard. 

Masa wouldn't die, but to defeat Rayleigh, the power of Jake Jake no Mi and Ton Ton no Mi wasn't enough! 

More importantly, once again, he really hadn't mastered "Haki," and in case he made his attack, he was afraid that he really couldn't penetrate this guy's defense.

Moreover, he didn't know where this guy was.

His improvement tonight was already impressive, and there was no need to be impatient, especially since his physical ability had improved a lot due to Masa from the world of DxD. 

Tonight, he just wanted to rest and left everything to his dolls (people he controlled) to destroy this diabolic place.

Naturally, Masa couldn't let this person go, and he directly used his "Nerve Disruption" ability, paralyzing the entire body of the target, then extended his hand with zipper ability from his Jake Jake no Mi power. 

He detached his arm and launched it, catching his target with ease before it was pulled back in by the zipper extension. 

Yet, for the one that was caught, this person was filled with despair. 

'No! No! No!' 

With "Nerve Disruption," her entire body couldn't be controlled. No, she had lost control over her body, and with the cruelty of Masa, she knew that she would be silenced! 

'I can't die! No, I don't want to die!' 

When Masa pulled his target, ready to end her life as he didn't wish for anyone to know about his identity, her will to live allowed her to fight the ability of the "Nerve Disruption" for a moment, begging him to live. 

"Please don't kill me! I will do anything!" 

As she finished her plea, the hat that covered most of her features was also thrown, showing her beautiful face that was filled with despair.

She appeared young and slim, with long light purple hair tied in a chignon and blue eyes. 

While her clothes appeared dirty, which was something that she probably did deliberately to make herself low-key, her face was beautiful and clean. 

"She is quite familiar..." 

Masa wondered why he had seen this woman. He was sure that this person was the heroine, but definitely not the main one, but then again, there were many beautiful women in this world. 

If there was a difference, then it was the fact that those beautiful women weren't famous. 

Still, during his stupor, while the woman couldn't run away, she could escape the grasp of the "Nerve Disruption," the ability that made her tremble in fear as it made her lose control over her body. 

As a thief from the weakest sea, Carina's life had been smooth, especially when all the people she met had a low IQ that she could control, but this time, she met a tough nut to crack since instead of talking, she met a killer that wouldn't show mercy to a beautiful woman like her. 

Still, she also understood why Masa wanted to silence her, especially with all the commotions he had caused.

This place was weird since it continued to exist even though the Marine Headquarters was nearby. 

Shouldn't this place be destroyed already? 

If Garp, the hero of the Marines, had used Galaxy Impact here, this place would be as good as gone. Unfortunately, he never intended to do so and just continued to play the role of a senile old man until his fight with his disciple.
