Matatabi shouted urgently. "If the Three-Tails is in such a pitiful state, there must be a reason. We need to evacuate now. This is too dangerous!"

"But..." Yugito hesitated for a moment. "This is the Three-Tails. If we manage to capture it, it could be an opportunity... I'll get huge recognition, a lot of credit...!"

Terror gripped her. There was no doubt: the Three-Tails had been thrown from the sky by Luo Lei, the God of Ninjas. The presence of Luo Lei changed everything.

Yugito felt a chill run down her spine, fear paralyzing her for a second.

'But... but Luo Lei was supposed to be in Kirigakure!' she thought as she ran toward the Kumogakure army camp without looking back. 'Just a few days ago, Mei Terumī was named the Fourth Mizukage... How could he get here so quickly...? How fast is this man!?'

The other Cloud ninjas also screamed in panic when they heard the truth, then turned around and ran with all their strength.

"Isobu, don't go too far!" Matatabi roared. The interference from the Three-Tails only complicated things further.

"Little cat, you'd better behave, or the consequences will be very serious!" Isobu responded with disdain. His eyes showed a glint of malice.

Matatabi gritted her teeth, feeling her frustration turn into pure fury. "Damn traitor... traitor of the tailed beasts!"

Without wasting more time, she channeled a massive amount of chakra, opening her mouth while gathering her energy. The air vibrated, power accumulating in a colossal way.

After a few seconds, a massive Bijudama formed and shot out of her mouth, flying toward Luo Lei.

The deafening roar shook the earth, and the shockwave of the explosion spread like a tsunami, uprooting trees and kicking up a cloud of dust and debris that darkened the entire battlefield.

The impact was enough to make anyone tremble... but not Luo Lei.

There he stood, in the center of the devastation, without moving an inch. He had withstood the impact of the Bijudama with his own body.

"Is that all you've got? Really?" Luo Lei said mockingly. His figure emerged from the smoke, not a single scratch on him.

He appeared in front of Matatabi in the blink of an eye. "Have you had enough, little cat?"

With a cruel smile, he grabbed the giant cat's tail with one hand, with insulting ease. "Let's go, I don't have time for pointless games!" he said before disappearing with Matatabi.

"No...!" Yugito screamed in desperation. The chakra surged violently, a final attempt to resist. But it was futile. She had no control—she could only feel herself being dragged away.
