David's rushed return

Phoebe was not the only that thought it was a bad day, David thought the same exact thing. After hearing someone attack Phoebe, he tried countless times to reach her but failed as his calls went unanswered.

He tried to concentrate on his important business meeting however he couldn't string together any useful thoughts because his mind and heart were preoccupied. Finally, when he reached boiling point, he surrendered.

"Ladies and gentlemen, please excuse me but I have an emergency that cannot wait." He stood up and left the meeting without further explanation.

His new personal assistant Hobbi was surprised to see his boss give up on the important meeting which had been scheduled weeks before he was hired. It was even marked important on the calendar so what was more important? Hobbi followed him outside.

"Sir? Sir! What emergency?" He tried to keep up with David who was rushing out of the elevator.
