After the trio had finalized their plans, the alchemy airship continued on its original course, speeding towards Kosai Island.

Having turned down Bennett's "academic salon," Lucien headed straight back to his cabin, ready to make use of the time aboard the airship to continue his studies on alchemy.

"Lucien, Mentor!" Just then, Carly came looking for him and discussed with Lucien how a few Second-level Wizard Apprentices were planning to form a self-preservation group.

"Self-preservation?" Lucien couldn't help but find it somewhat amusing. However, seeing Carly's expression of having accomplished something significant, he smiled but said no more.

Seeing Lucien's somewhat perfunctory attitude, Carly felt a bit dejected, sensing that things were not going quite as she had imagined.
