Innocent Boy

Outside Lucy's apartment, the four people standing there were now nervously glancing at each other, mirroring each of their own emotions on their faces.

Right now, they clearly didn't expect the turn of events and were initially still thinking of taking the little boy from the woman living in this apartment. They were glad that she called the local police. They were easier to rope into their side.

But who knew she would call the headquarters police?

Now, everything was unclear.

"What are we going to do? Madam would certainly not like this if she learns that we let the boy go!" the woman bit her nails until it broke. She kept pacing left to right, showing how anxious she was.

"Stop moving around already!" shouted the man as he was influenced and got irritated by her movements. "We're still not discovered yet. We can still get out of this mess!"
