Busy Day

Haruto swiftly started typing, "Yeah, im here, i was just about to text you after dinner." he sent it, quickly putting his phone down and hurried eating.

As he was hurriedly trying to finish his meal, his phone buzzed with another message, he quickly picked up the phone, his mouth still full, chewing slowly as he opened the message which read "You haven't had your dinner yet?"

Chewing slowly, Haruto began typing, "I was eating, just finished now." He sent the message then quickly sat the phone down swallowing his food. Without missing a beat he quickly ate the remaining salad in his bowl and started chugging water, just as he gulped down the last sip, his phone buzzed with a new message.

Haruto set the bottle down, wiped his mouth, and picked up his phone. The message read, "I hope i didn't disturb you"

Smiling warmly, Haruto began typing, "Not at all, i planned to text you as soon as i finished eating." and hit send.

Moments later, Kanna's reply came, "By the way, why are you eating so late?"

Haruto smiled warmly, leaned back on his bed, started typing, "Was busy all day, just got home, what about you, how was your day?" With a quick tap, He sent the message.

Kanna's reply came, which read, "It was fun and exciting, lots of things happened, you wanna know what was the most exciting part of the day?"

As Haruto reads the message a warm affectionate smile appears on his face as he can sense the same excitement level she has back in time. He quickly began typing, "Yes, of course, tell me." and sent his response.

Kanna's reply popped up, "Well, it's a very long thing to text, how about we talk on a call instead?"

Haruto's eyes widened, his heartbeat racing, and a wide smile spread across his face. He typed "Yeah sure" and sent his response.

As soon as his message was marked as seen, Kanna's audio call rang through, with an excited smile he quickly answered the call, placing his phone on his ear saying "Hello."

Kanna's soft "Hey" came back in response, Haruto's heartbeat gradually slowed, a affectious smile spreading on his face, as if he got completely calmed and relaxed.

With an excited tone, Kanna began recalling her day, her voice bubbling with enthusiasm, Haruto listened to her with a big smile on his face, lost in every word she was saying…

Sunrises, its rays entering Haruto's room, when his alarm began to ring, Groggily Haruto slowly rose from his bed sitting on the bed, rubbing his eyes, and with slow movements he turned off the alarm, he slowly glanced at the wall clock and realized he was running late for his job.

With a display of disinterest he swung his leg over the side of the bed and began walking towards the bathroom.

later as Haruto was eating his breakfast sitting on his bed, his phone buzzed with a notification, quickly picking up his phone he saw a message from Kanna which read "Hey, Good morning, looks like we both slept talking last night"

A warm smile appeared on Haruto's face as he typed back, "Yeah, I also didn't realize when I fell asleep, btw what's your plan for today?" and hits the send.

Kanna quickly started typing, and soon her message came, "It's nothing special, my university is off today, so i was thinking to visit my aunt's house."

Haruto typed back, "Great, then I guess we won't be able to talk tonight." and sends the message

Kanna's reply came, almost immediately, "We can talk at night if you want, or I should find someone else to call?"

Haruto smiled at the response and began typing, "No need, im enough for you" just as he was about to hit send, Makoto's name flashed on screen with an incoming call, irritation crossed Haruto's face, he then glance at wall clock realizing he's was running late for his work, with a sigh he ended the call, and continued typing "No need, im enough for you, alright now I'm going to work, lets talk at night, bye take care, be careful on your way to your aunt's" he hit sends, quickly started finishing his breakfast, his phone buzzed with notification, Haruto quickly finished his breakfast, putting his empty bowl aside, grabbed his phone, standing up taking the keys, and started wearing his long coat, and hurriedly left the apartment…

Haruto now walking down the street, his gaze fixed on his phone's screen, as he reads Kanna's text which said, "Alright, bye, take care" A smile spread across Haruto's face, was smiling glancing at the message he then placed his phone into the pocket of his long coat, and slid both of his both hands inside the pocket taking a deep breath, hos expressions remained one of relaxed satisfaction reflecting serene happiness…

Haruto quickly wore his working apron and cap, and with a confident smile he began his shift at the counter, his joy was visible as he was treating every customer with a smile. All the customers seemed kind to him, talking and laughing with him.

Next to him, Makoto observes with a mixture of confusion and surprise, because. Haruto, who never liked and enjoyed his work, was now visibly enjoying his work, a sight that left Makoto stunned.

Haruto, beaming with a friendly smile, scanned the items, processed the bill and handed it to a customer with a warm "Thank you." The customer responded with a smile and walked away.

"Hey Haruto!" Makoto's whispers, drawing Haruto's attention, "Are you okay?" Makoto asked, a hint of concern in his tone.

With a smile Haruto nodded, "Yeah absolutely, why?" he asked, his eyes fixed on Makoto who seemed confused.

"I'll be back in a few minutes" Makoto said with a hint of confusion, Haruto nodded in response, Makoto then walked away, and Haruto continued doing his work.

As Haruto was busy with his work, a voice called out "Hey Haruto!" looking up, Haruto saw Yusuke standing, smiling.

Haruto's previously cheerful demeanor dimmed slightly, "Ooh, hey Yusuke" Haruto said with lack of interest, lowered his gaze and began scanning his items.

Yusuke kept gazing at Haruto with a teasing smile, "Hey Haruto," he called out.

"Yeah?" Haruto asked, not looking up from his work.

"Are you still in touch with Kanna?" Yusuke asked, causing Haruto to momentarily pause in his scanning, before resuming.

"No I'm not," Haruto replied, his tone turning serious.

"I was thinking of getting in touch with her," Yusuke said with a teasing smile.

"Why?" Haruto asked sharply, his gaze and attention fixed on scanning the items, his expressions serious.

"Look, i have my girl whom i love," Yusuke said with a smirk, "but you know, Kanna will be a great time pass."

Haruto's eyes widened with anger, pausing in his scanning, his grip on the item tightening.

"I know she is in relationship with someone else but i bet she'd be interested dating a rich guy like me, and it will also help me passing my time, she is beautiful and have beautiful figu-" Haruto moves forward clutching Yusuke's collar tightly, stopping him mid sentence, gazing at him with fury burning in his eyes. Yusuke seemed stunned, his eyes wide with anger.

Both Yusuke and Haruto locked eyes, with every customer around them gazing and gossiping about them.
