Chapter 333 Prologue and Methods of Collapse

Encouraged by Deputy Speaker Henri Onck, the Southern Netherland Insurgent Army launched a fierce assault on the French forces encircling General Witte.

Contrary to their expectations, the French troops collapsed almost instantly. Within 20 minutes, a massive breach appeared in the encirclement.

Witte clearly noticed the anomaly as well. When he vaguely saw the flag of the Southern Netherland National Army through his telescope, his heart surged with joy. He ordered the officers beside him to perk up and join him in breaking through the encirclement.

Under the pressure of being attacked from both sides, the Guard Corps, led by Major Mason, became increasingly "unable to withstand the assault," with soldiers near the Netherlands Army fleeing in panic.

In less than an hour, Witte successfully rendezvoused with the reinforcements led by Major Acht.
